What a lovely idea for those kids that are a little older or if you just don't want to give the candy advents.This was not as big as I expected but such a cute idea.It comes with a sleeve cover which is a nice touch.Unfortunately when I pulled across the sleeve to get the calendar out, the 24 had fallen off. Luckily it was inside, but I had to tape it on and while doing so saw the others on that side were ready to fall off too so I ended up taping all the ones on that edge. This is my only reason for a 4 star because if you had this delivered directly to a child they'd either have to open it all to get the 24 or see what's behind 24 before they'd even opened day 1.I was able to access the charms by sliding their tray out of the side. It's plastic wrapped to protect the contents.I really like this and think it gives such a wonderful gift as well as the fun of an advent calendar so I'm ordering a few as presents.They're a nice quality and I like that there are both gold and silver bracelets and charms. I just wish the second bracelet was half way through and not at the end ... meaning you get all the charms before the second bracelet but I think you could swap that round. I hope this helps.

We love advent calendars in our family. I usually get a beer one. My wife gets a wine calendar. We always do building block advent calendars. We even have advent ornaments that we fill for our daughter. My daughter is into building her own jewelry right now. I thought that this would be a good option for her. The quality is good. The front picture is cute. Lots of fun options for a young person.
