I have had my Fold5 for about a month and have tried seven different cases, this is the EIGHTH. and i have finally found the one to keep!I have read other reviews, there are complaints that it is a hassle to screw on the case which has and silicone rubber frame with a metal housing that bolts together to keep the phone secure. However, I say (or type) to thee, if the case is the right one, you only need to assemble it once...Not only does it look great, it protects the phone without being over the top bulky. In my opinion, it is light for the the ammount of protection that it provides due to the quality of the materials. Damn, this seems like an advertisement. Maybe I should request a paycheck?!On top of all of that, the case has a sturdy kickstand which hides quite well in the spine (hinge protector), it also has a place to keep you S-Pen. It is also hidden in the spine, so if you don't have the pen it won't look weird. The hinge protector and kickstand are made of plastic. Wireless charging is not impeded by the case.In other reviews, some of the negative comments were about their signal strength being affected by this case. I compared my phone with and without the case on, plus I had it side by side with my wife's S23 Ultra and my daughter's S20 Ultra. I experienced no observable difference in the signal strength for the cell reception, WiFi or 5G.Cons:The kickstand only operates in portrait mode. Also, while using the main (front) screen while texting, some of the keyboard can be slightly difficult to type withd7e to height of the frame. The same issue I experienced while using the fingerprint scanner. The button and scanner is still effective, but it takes a little getting used to...In summery, I like this case and I recommend it to anyone that doesn't want to worry about dropping your new Z Fold 5 and get stuck shelling out another couple a hundred bucks to fix it because of a crappy case!

I was so excited to be one of the first to give this a try. I took care to install it just as instructed and gave it a run for a day. I liked that it fit well in my hand and actually felt pretty solid, at least compared to the case I had on my Z Fold 3 a couple of years ago. The case did hold well onto the phone, and I really liked that aspect of it, but the case makes the fingerprint scanner completely unusable as well as narrows down the charge port area to where I was unable to use my go to charging cable. The part that killed it for me overall was that I placed it on the wireless charger last night and woke up to a phone that hadn't charged at all. Solid components, but the design has too many flaws for it to be a good overall case.

I liked this cover, it was fine for few days, but not anymore, the rubber lining specially near finger scan area the rubber has come out in front.Other issue is that the Lid back which carries the Spen has come off the hinges are weak that plastic is broken, the spring has come out of the holes and it pierces in hand sometimes and get stuck in clothes and may tear the coats or jackets or pocket if kept in.Like i said i like it but the part that is made to store the SPen needs more work.

I invested in this case for my Zfold 4 and z fold 5 after having damaged the hinge on my zf4 a couple times. This case does what its designed to do which is protect your device. I love that it has space for my pen and keeps it secure. The hinge is decent. It does make your device bully and heavy though. But thats to be expected given the thick layer of protection and the metal framing. No need to dock stars when i knew what i was getting. I might just have to upgrade to the s24ultra cause holding this device for long periods of time is starting to hurt my arm..... But thats also a sign i need to out the phone down and tune into life...smh

Was a pain to put on and I don't think it's metal but it has took 2 decent drops and no damage anywhere. But it did come with a damaged kickstand so that doesn't work properly but no biggie. But the hinge bracket should have been on the back I have to put my finger at a angle and hope I can press what's under.(will add pics soon) other than that 7/10 Also have some problems with how the fingerprint scanner is but can normally get it to work with some pressure

She loves this case. Nice and durable. The Best part is it has a lip that extends all the way around the outside edge. Which makes it easier to NOT accidentally touch the screen when using the device. As my Mom has hand issues that causes her to accidentally touch the screen when not intending to. Easy to install too. Sure the little screws are tiny but once they are in there they are set.

It's super complicated to install and also wrong size

Seems to be a very good heavy-duty case. I just got it but it seems to be a very protective case. Kickstand IS not all that. But that's not what I brought it for. I brought it for protection and it seems like it well do that very well. Also I dropped the case on concrete and it did not damage the phone at all. This is a very good protective case for this expensive phone.
