Supersonic™ Origin Hair Dryer

After 15 years I finally had to replace my original Dyson hair dryer. 15 YEARS it lasted! It actually still works, but it started shutting down repeatedly after 10 minutes. Dyson products are top quality and well worth the cost. All other brands throughout my life never lasted more than 1 year before burning out. This has paid for itself over and over again. It dries my hair quickly , and my hair is shiny and smooth. Thank you, Dyson, for your excellence in workmanship in all you do.

The Dyson Supersonic Origin it’s definitely one of the most functional hair tools I’ve owned. Everything about it is designed to make your routine easier — from the magnetic attachment system to how fast and efficiently it dries. It’s surprisingly lightweight and easy to handle, which makes a big difference if you’re styling or drying for more than a few minutes. Despite its small size, the airflow is strong and very controlled, and it gets the job done quickly — I’ve cut down my usual drying time by a noticeable amount. What stood out most was the noise level — it’s not silent, but the sound is much softer and lower-pitched than most dryers I’ve used. It doesn’t have that loud, high-pitched whine. The build quality is excellent too; it feels sturdy and high-end, and the cord and buttons all seem durable and responsive. In terms of functionality, this dryer hits all the marks: quick drying, precise airflow, comfortable grip, and reliable heat control. It’s clearly built with everyday use in mind, and everything works the way you expect — no extra fluff, just performance. It’s definitely an investment, but if you use a dryer regularly and care about both results and comfort, this one delivers on all fronts.

I’m afraid everyone was right about dyson and it is the perfect hair dryer. Sooo lightweight, my arm doesn’t get tired from holding it up like my last heavy hairdryer, and it works so fast at drying my hair. Love the different heat settings, I never feel like my hair is getting fried. Expensive but honestly on a payment plan it was totally worth it lol

Update…… Dyson has notified me that my hairdryer is defective and cannot be repaired after 5 months of use. They are only obligated to send me a working machine, not a new one!!! I guess I should have read the fine print!. I will be receiving a used refurbished dryer that someone else turned in and they repaired!! NEVER EVER WILL I BUY A DYSON AGAIN!!!!!!!! Stopped working after 5 months. Dyson would not replace, they said they would only repair. I had to jump through hoops to finally get approval for it to be sent off to their repair facility. Not what I expected for a $400 hair dryer. I wanted it replaced since it had only been 5 months. Disappointed in Dyson and will not purchase any of their products ever again. Also. I am still waiting for it to be returned to me. I had to follow up because they never notified me if they received it like they indicated in their email. Bad customer service

It dries my hair in less than 15 minutes (the other dryer I had takes 30-ish minutes). More, I have a 65-pound double-coated shepherd and it takes 30 minutes to dry him after his bath. (the other dryer takes more than an hour). The design is beautiful and not heavy at all.

An absolute game changer for thick hair. My dry time has been cut in half and I have less frizz. So glad I purchased this dryer.

Great hair dryer! I know it’s expensive but worth every penny.

It is much heavier than I expected. The short nozzle takes getting used to & so does the location of the buttons. It does dry my hair much quicker & with less flyaway results.
