Recently at my caravan I lost my best friend who was our neighbour and who was one in a million so I had a picture made for our decking as a remembrance of him through the day, it looks amazing so I needed something to make it look good at night then this spot light came up for review and I must say it’s perfect and the set up was so easy. It’s a very bright spot light that has 30 leds with a nice spread of light, the pic doesn’t do it justice and the solar panel is a nice size and seems very well made as does the spot light itself, there’s plenty of length to the cable and it came with two brackets, one for the solar panel and one for the spot light that allows adjustments up and down, there’s also a garden spike with extension for the solar panel. Once fully charged the light lasted well into the early hours of the morning and has been faultless since I fitted it. It also came with all the screw fittings and four cable ties to tidy up the cable. This spot light has done my friends memorial proud and is worthy of 5 stars and I definitely recommend, even the price is great, spot on forgive the pun.

Solar Lights ========= Nice solar light with a good run of cable for the solar panel - great for running the panel to a bright area to catch the sun. There are no pir/movement sensors so it's either on or off. When set on, it turns on at night until the charge runs out. I have another one with an integrated panel and find during summer it stays on until quite late - but not so great in the winter. This one works better because of the separate solar panel. In practice it throws a short but concentrated area of light. Would be a great night light to highlight garden features too. Currently selling for 29.98

This solar light is perfect for lighting a driveway, back garden or campsite. It comes with all the fixings needed for both the solar panel and the light. Its brackets are designed for easy installation and allows adjustment of their facing angles, thus maximising both solar power efficiency and lighting area. The solar panel should be installed to maximise sunlight exposure but should avoid exposure to its own powered light. The switch on the solar panel should switched on once installed. Its light will only automatically turn on when the solar panel is in dark. If the solar panel was improperly installed causing itself exposure to its own light, the light will turn on and off erratically. In the evening, the light will illuminate at 75% brightness for the first 6 hours (depending on sunlight condition and how much charge it has) and then dim to allow the light to continue shining until the next morning. The solar panel and light feel well made and pretty solid. Hopefully they will last a long time. Please be aware that this solar light doesn't have a motion sensor.

This outdoor solar powered security light/floodlight appears well made, and the light itself is extremely bright. The solar panel is a good size and works well to charge the battery inside the light housing. There is a long cable, and I particularly like that the solar panel can be unplugged from the light itself with the connector being part of the cable. I had some issues with the light flashing on and off, and the darkness trigger was a little flaky at times, with the light either not coming on, or refusing to turn off. My main complaint, though, is that the instructions are abysmal. There's a list of parts, lots of safety warnings, but nothing at all to explain how the light works or how to put together the legs and/or stake for the light and solar panel. It's not hard to figure out, but not everyone has the aptitude to work these things out for themselves, so some diagrams and an explanation in the pamphlet could be of considerable help.

This is a well made light that can light up a large area. With its many mounting options and adjustments its each to position this light exactly where you need it. The solar panel section is separate so you dont have to have the light directly in a place sunlight is able to touch. There is no motion sensors but rather it turns on based on environmental lighting and auto adjusts brightness to suit. Very good for a place and forget about it lighting for the outside of the house.

The light comes well packed and includes options to wall mount the light or spike mount the light into the ground to light a path etc. The LED light head looks to be of higher quality compared to most lights around this price point. The solar panel is large so should keep the 2 x removeable 18650 cells well charged during the summer months although may struggle during dim winter months. The light comes on automatically after dark at full power constantly , if there is enough charge in the batteries in will run for 4 hours then auto dim to try and run a little longer. The fact it doesnt come with any kind of motion sensor means its only good for applications were you need to light constantly after dark but keep in mind during winter months it might not be able to charge the batteries enough to provide quoted run times.

The solar light is perfect, the 5 metre lead between the light and the solar panel means you can put the solar panel in full sun and the light were you want it. It comes with brackets to mount both and a earth spike if needed. The brackets have lots of movement so can be angled to what suits best. All fixings are included, screws, Rawl plugs and cable ties. I wanted to make a feature or a nice tree in the garden, make it a focal point and having the 5 metre lead allowed me to do this and keep the solar panel in the sun all day. The light comes on automatically when dark at full brightness and dims after 4hrs to save energy. The light is on until morning so lasts well. The solar panel and light are very well made and look like they will last a very long time. A brilliant light that can have many uses.
