Kids Veterinarian Costume, Kids Doctor Vet Costume Outfit Pretend Play Dress Up Set for Career Day

What is not to like? My 8 ½ year old granddaughter's 3rd grade class had a career day where they had to dress up in what they would like to be when they grow up. She is animal-crazy and wants to be a veterinarian. The shipping on this order was amazing … 1 day! Our child absolutely loved the outfit! She kept saying, “How really soft it is!" I could not believe how well-made it was, especially for the price. It had two deep nice front pockets on the smock - big enough to hold the stethoscope – which incidentally really works! The name tag and lanyard is cute, adding nicely to the look. It has a matching surgeon's mask; but my girl didn't keep that on long. The “surgeon's cap" fits snuggly and doesn't slid off - even on my baby girl's long slick hair.The only concern I had when ordering (and a suggestion here …) the sizing on the chart online for the costume pants is very misleading and confusing. Let me stop here and say, “This costume fits VERY TRUE TO SIZE." However, the sizing chart does NOT line up with those sizes!My granddaughter weighs about 73 pounds and is usually a size 10 in most youth clothing. She is on the slim side; her waist is 24”. In looking at the sizes, it says, “The smallest size (3-6 years old) is a 30" waist.” Medium (6-8 years old) 32.5". Large (9-12 years old) is 35" in the waist!Finally, I decided to go with the age group and not the sizes. I was afraid the pants would fall off her hips when they got here. But … yippee … I made the right choice! The pants fit PERFECTLY! So, ignore the size chart and go with the size your child wears; and you should be alright.My granddaughter wore her new outfit to school, taking her stuffed kitty with her to perform veterinary care on (after thoroughly checking out her real cat). She checked a few “human hearts,” as well. She was the “Best Dressed Kid in 3rd Grade" for Career Day! Well worth this grandma's money!

It was fun to customize the name badge for our daughter - she dressed up as a Vet for a school project. Her stethoscope also worked - the kids all wanted to give it a try.

This costume is the best I’ve seen for a nurses outfit. So well made and so so cute. Highly recommend

We got this for career day at school. My daughter is about 57" tall, size 10 and the 9-12 fits her great, with just a little room to spare. She didn't care much for the mask and the hat, but likes the stethoscope and lanyard. And she looks so cute :) The fabric is a little thin, which is to be expected, so she's wearing a long-sleeve shirt and leggings underneath - for warmth more than for modesty.

Needed an outfit for my child for career day this came in time for perfect and is even now used for dress up play
