Chaowei DTV530 Portable ATSC Digital TV with 3.5" TFT LCD and Magnetic Base Antenna - Black

I've had a number of small battery-powered TVs over the years and this one ranks as the best. It's easy to use, it gets a nice clear picture, it gets good reception, and the sound through the speaker is more than adequate. One of the main reasons I chose this TV is because it has a USB charging cord; most of the small battery TVs don't! Considering the fact that I bought this TV to use when my power is out (it's happened a lot here in the northeast lately), the ability to charge with a phone-type charger is essential. Another reason I'm so happy with my purchase is because the Chaowei company has EXCELLENT customer service! The antenna that came with the TV was defective and without it, the TV couldn't function properly, so I was going to return it. I contacted the company and told them the problem. I promptly received an email saying that they were sending me a new antenna and it arrived very quickly. I was saved the time and effort of returning the product, which I greatly appreciated! It's a smart company that firmly stands behind their products, but there doesn't seem to be very many that do. It was a pleasure to learn that Chaowei is one of the smart ones!

Only receive 4 channels, but they are nice and clear. You have to find the right location to receive the signal. I would guess if I took it somewhere else it might pick up more channels. Haven't had that long to experience any problems. Like it, but it only has about 2 hours use, before a possible recharge.

Had this for less than a month and have used handful of times. Buttons for channel and volume all do not work. No sound period. Should of listen to other reviews. I bought cause of size and usb charging only. Piece of junk worth maybe 19.99

Bought this for an old man at work he refuses to use a smart phone. We work overnights and have alot of down time. He loves it. The built in antenna picked up over 50 channels inside. Picture quality is great. The speaker is a little to be desired, we got him a set of head phones and gave him a Bluetooth speaker with a 3mm Jack and it worked great. Bought a second one so my dad and I can watch football on the boat and in the hunting blind.

Awesome TV! The antenna is ok and I use a larger antenna to attract more channels. Closed caption works so great!

Worked fine, no major usage on my behalf, occasionally, maybe once a month, bought back in September. Now the piece of junk won't turn on, good idea of a TV poor execution, save your money for something you can return if needed.

This little portable tv is awesome! Very easy to use and crystal clear picture and sound!!! When I turned it on and searched for channels.. I picked up 53 channels! And want to know even more? The battery is replaceable!!! So this tv will last year's with no worries. The picture quality is amazing!!! And there is no other portable tv like this!

The screen is very clear and the sound is good for a small tv. You need to buy a additonal DTV antenna if you want more channels.
