Luxury without the Price
I was amazed at the quality of this product. It was everything the site described. Soft, no wrinkles when unfolded, very luxurious, just a slight bit shiny. Stays where it is placed which is a big plus. I washed mine on a very low water temperature and dried it on low. Just be sure to follow instructions. It came out better than new. This long hair shag is a very inexpensive way to make a doorway look extra nice.

Good for the money or temporary.
Great for the money. Very very soft and comfortable. However unlike fabric shag carpets this one is a plastic blend. You can shake it out and vacuum it. Trying to wash it will cause it to matte up. With socks on, it can be slippery but its still of a soft feel. Has a memory foam layer under it for extra comfort. I got rid of mine because the top layer got some air in it and it started to slide and get bunched up. especially with furniture on it. It happened from moving the rug, it has gel type bottoms to help keep it stationary, but its important to not pull it apart (like a bag of chips, creating air on the inside) or it will start to bunch up and cause the edges to curl.

Super soft…Love it!
This rug is super soft and decent quality for the price. The colors are well mixed and doesn’t look cheap. Be cautious when wearing socks as it can be slightly slippery.

you get what you pay for
TLDR great, cheap, aesthetic rugs for low traffic areas. Probably not a good idea if you have kids, pets, or are putting them in high traffic areas or near where you will be eating. Long: We bought two of these rugs in 4x6. It was hard not when they cost less than half the price of alternatives. Upon first installation they were extremely soft, and we thought we'd really found a gem. They slide around on our tile floor but carpet tape solved this. However, after about a week or two, the downsides started to set in. Relevant context is that we have a dog, 2 kids, and a small living room where we spend 90% of our time, including eating. First, they are very difficult to clean. Due to the long hairs, our fairly powerful vacuum cleaner struggled to pull any crumbs out even with several passes. Also the hairs start to lose softness fairly quickly. How much of this is due to kids or spilled food which we could not get out without a carpert cleaner vs just the fibers themselves I cannot say. Another issue with them is that their construction is basically a top and a bottom bound together only around the perimeter. This is fine for a low traffic areas or where you don't have them carpet taped down. However we kept one under our coffee table, something which we moved forward and backward if we pulled out the couch (something we do often). As a result the carpet started to roll up on itself, exposing it's underside. After enough moving's of the table above and daily vacuumings, the edges of the carpet just kind of always stayed curled up. With it accumulating crumbs, the fibers getting stiff and hard (maybe or maybe not due to contaminents which were hard to remove), and now folding over on itself, within a month or so it started to not look or feel pleasant. We kept them for another 5 months or so but have now replaced them will a more traditional one-piece short-hair carpet which we hope will be easier to keep clean and maintain it's behavior over time. In summary, if you are putting these in a low traffic area, which won't be subject to movement or need to be cleaned often, these are a great and cheap choice. If that is not true for you, probably "splurge" on $30-$45 carpets which are more durable and easy to clean.

Washable at least
I purchased the Andency Shag Rug in pink for my daughter’s room, seeking a rug that would be soft, stylish, and, most importantly, washable. Upon first glance, the rug seemed to meet my expectations with its pleasant pink color and plush texture. However, after using it for a while, I have mixed feelings about the overall quality and durability of this product. The rug arrived vacuum-packed, which left it with noticeable creases and a faint chemical odor. To address these issues, I immediately put it in the washing machine. After the first wash, while the creases mostly disappeared, the rug began to lose some of its shape. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of its decline in quality. The material of the rug is surprisingly thin, which was disappointing from the start. I had hoped it would be thicker and more substantial, especially considering it’s intended for children’s spaces, where durability is crucial. After a few washes, the rug began to lose its structural integrity. The middle layer, which isn’t accessible or visible, seemed to deteriorate, making the rug feel flimsy and unstable. The fibers of the rug, which initially felt soft, also became less plush and more matted after several washes. One of the main reasons I chose this rug was for its washable feature. While it can indeed be machine-washed, the rug’s ability to maintain its shape and quality after washing is highly questionable. After just three washes, the rug became misshapen and uneven, losing much of its original appeal. Although it is advertised as washable, the fact that the middle layer began to fall apart makes me doubt its long-term durability for families who need a low-maintenance rug. Despite its quality issues, my daughter liked the appearance and softness of the rug. The pink color is vibrant without being overwhelming, making it a lovely addition to a child’s room or nursery. However, the aesthetic value is overshadowed by its lack of durability. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the Andency Shag Rug. While it may work as a short-term solution or decorative piece, it simply doesn’t hold up to repeated washing or everyday wear and tear. Given the flimsy material, it’s not worth the investment if you’re looking for a durable, long-lasting rug. Pros: • Attractive pink color suitable for children’s rooms • Soft texture initially • Washable in a standard washing machine Cons: • Thin materials feel cheap and lack durability • Middle layer falls apart after washing • Loses shape after a few washes • Not long-lasting or reliable for high-traffic areas • Chemical smell upon arrival

Got the 8ft x 10ft rug, ordered on a Friday, shipped and landed in the uk Sunday, once cleared customs it was delivered Friday! 1week, outstanding. It arrived vacuum packed in a box, which threw me lol but wow once out and puffed back up, it is thick and bouncy! it’s so soft, the colour is to die for! Value for money. It truly was the finishing touch to our lounge! Thank you!

The area rug came on time.. it is more of a furry rug as opposed to a shag… I returned it as it wasn’t what I thought. Very soft though
