Elgato Wave Mic Arm LP White, Low Profile Boom Arm

I didn't want to spend too much on a desktop microphone arm, but the white Elgato Wave was on offer so I took a chance based on its stylish white looks.I use a Rode NT1-A kit with a suspension cradle and pop shield, and this arm supports it all fine. The total weight of my mic equipment is approx 1kg.The Elgato arm is very well designed. It has a clever removable magnetic plate system which allows you to quickly conceal a thick XLR cable out of sight with ease. I also like the arm's low profile design which I find much tidier to look at that a standard tall arm. The matte white powder-coated metal finish is excellent. The rotational bearings are good and allow many options for orientation, adjustment and fold-down storage, although the overall height reach is obviously quite limited due to its design. If you need an overhead mic, you should go with an upright design instead, but this low-profile design is ideal for attaching to the back edge of your desk (out of the way) and folding the mic towards you when needed.I use lots of professional broadcast equipment and despite my reservations, have been very pleased with this so far.

Best quality mic stand I’ve had. Got it on a deal for Black Friday. I used to use those cheap £10 ones, and they just break months after, and not to mention look out of place and squeak after a while, but this one is sleek, hides the wires and was real easy to setup, it’s sturdy, clamps on there well, very flexible! It’s a perfect size for my setup and great value! No squeaks or metallic noises when you move the arm about, just a really good product overall. If you’re thinking about getting a mic stand, buy this one, it’s reliable, adjustsble and will last years, I’ve spent more on replacing cheap old ones than I will ever have spent on buying just one of these bad boys! Quality does not disappoint!

Is this product expensive - yes.Would I buy it again? Absolutely yes.The action is smooth and silent. Holds the mic perfectly and allows me to move it in and out quickly and easily. I avoided moving my old arm, but this one I move around all the time. Also because of the design of the old arm I could never really get it out of the way. This folds away into a much small footprint.Highly recommended.

This is a very nice mount. I did use cheaper ones before as I thought well, it’s only a mount it’s not that big of a deal. However they were always a bit finicky, kinda flimsy, etc. This mount however is well made, solid, you can hide the cable itself within the frame, and it’s easily adjustable. Once you’ve got your height setting done, it’s easy and smooth to slide it out when not in use, or bring it in when in use.It also looks nice, much better than a lot of other mic mounts available.

I can't do much more than echo what's already been said in other reviews. The only thing I can think of that could bother some people is that it's friction mounted, meaning that you have to turn a knob to make height adjustments. But once you've got it set up, you shouldn't need to do this often, you can just swivel it out of the way until you need it. It's sturdy, the swivel movement is smooth and I just love the low profile design that lets it sit under my monitor rather than over it. If you like the sound of this, get it, you won't be sorry!

It's very expensive but if you get this on a deal it is well worth it! You can feel the quality of the arm but I wouldn't pay the initial asking price for it. It's easy to set up also. Nothing hard about it, just clamp it to your desk.

Very rigid and stylish!

So, I had it on sale and I liked that it was low profile.BUT. The max weight is 2.2lbs yet it constantly sags with my SM7B which is 1lb 11oz. So it should be fine, but I have to massively over tighten it to keep it it from sagging. The magnetic and wire hiding features are neat but expected for this price. So if you have a super light mic it’ll be great, but a fair bit under 2lbs of weight is low

I purchased this Mic Arm for my YouTube studio. It’s paired with my Rode Mic and it’s FANTASTIC! It’s durable, built for everyday use! It’s beautiful and functions perfectly! Spend the extra money and get this one. Cheaper Mic Arms don’t last. Trust me when I say this- you’ll regret not buying this one! ☝️ It’s worth every penny.

Consigliatissimo! 🤍👌

I had a high profile arm but wanted a low profile so it wouldn't be in front of my monitor as much. This one works beautifully, it floats just above my desk and stays out of my way while in use.The paint job is flawless and I love the magnetic covers on top of the arms for cable management which gives it a very clean look. The installation on the deks is easy since you can clamp it on and just click the arm in after is was fastened. I moved the arm around three times after being in the same place for a while and it left no trace on the desk at all (old ones I've used left black marks from the clamps or rubber). It came with the right attachment parts for me to be able to attach both my Yeti Blue microphone and my Røde N1 with shockmounts. The arm holds the pretty heavy microphones up well at many angles.Arrived on time and in great state, would recommend.

I’ve been using the Elgato Wave Mic Arm LP (White) in my daughter’s gaming PC setup, and it is excellent in every way. The arm is sturdy, flexible, and easy to position, allowing the microphone to stay exactly where it’s needed without drooping or shifting during use.It integrates seamlessly with the Elgato Wave microphone, providing professional-level stability and adjustability for streaming, gaming, or recording. My daughter loves how easy it is to move and secure, making her setup both functional and visually clean.Overall, this mic arm is durable, reliable, and highly practical, and it complements any desktop or gaming setup beautifully.
