Crayola Model Magic, Modeling Clay Alternative, 5 Shimmer Colors, 2.5 oz

This stuff is wonderful! We had a negative past experience with other clay made for kids because it was so hard and difficult to mold. This experience was nothing like that. My 9 year old daughter loves it and made lots of little people with it. And days later it was still pretty soft after being out in the air but it stayed together well.

The glitter is subtle so there's no need to worry about it getting everywhere, and it would be very simple to add more glitter if you wanted.

My kids LOVE this stuff. Especially great for helping my sensory-responsive ADHD child focus. Kids could sit and knead and stretch and mix colors with this stuff for hours. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! You can also make models out of it like regular clay. It’s not as easy to mold, but it will eventually dry out and hold it’s shape in a more styrofoam-type consistency. Also, and I don’t have personal experience (yet) so don’t quote me, but my 7 year old insists that if you mix this stuff in to your concoction while making homemade slime (ugh), it creates something called “butter slime.” I don’t know what that is but there’s so many kinds of slime out there, if this is something that helps make slime, you know kids just love that. 10/10 no reason not to buy this. IT’S NOT MESSY!!! It doesn’t crumble or dry up and get into everything like play doh!

This stuff works WONDERS in making slime. A little Elmer's glue and a little bit of clay goes a long way! I ended up going to hobby lobby to buy all the colors for my daughter because Amazon didn't have them all. It's cheaper on amazon though. So if you're trying it out, this box is sufficient. My daughter was able to make about 9 different batches of "cloud" slime with this model magic clay

The description says this product is 5 oz, but they forgot the point. These bags are .5 oz each. Which is actually pretty small! I bought this for my child’s school project, but I may end up returning. I didn’t open the bags, but from the outside, it feels like it’s about the size of double stack Ritz cracker. For a quick craft for the kids it’s probably fine, but for our craft it’s not. :/

As a parent, it cleans up easily. It does get hard rather quickly, so if you want to get a few playtimes out of the package immediately wrap it up upon being done playing. It takes about 24 hours for the 'clay" to dry completely but it still is never truly hard. It does have some slight give to it. It is a favorite in the house, and we have bought a few different kits. Tons of projects hanging around the house. Tons.

It's for my kid's school project. It's not sticky, it would stick on table, floor and clothes. It's very easy to clean. Worth to buy it

Pros: * FUN colors! *My 3 and 6 year old absolutely love playing with this! *Blending of the colors is fun for them and an opportunity to explore color combinations (what did they mix to get the new color). Cons: *One box was airtight and felt nice and dry. The other package was wet and felt awful in our hands. Not sure what happened there, but considering the fact that I bought simultaneously, it seemed odd to me.

This clay can be used for a variety of modelling projects, or for fun play. The product does dry out, so if you intend for it to be modelled into anything, it is best to use after opening the package, or keep unused/unmodelled products in an airtight container. This particular package has glitter in the clay, which adds more fun to any project. The product is a little more expensive, but it is a quality product, and a name brand product, both which will increase the price. I would recommend this product to others as I have not yet found another product with the same function that compares to this quality.
