Ignoring my dirty background and dirty shifter because I live in a house full of pets and just took this lol The item works perfectly. I converted my shifter to a real car shifter, but it was too low to the boot, so it was hard to shift, but with this extension, it fit perfectly in the M12 adapter to convert logitech to real shifter which means the compatibility they claim is correct as I also tested it with the original shifter, just to be sure. Basically, it works and it's pretty decent quality. And I'll update it when it breaks. So you know how long it lasts and I occasionally drive maybe no more than 10 hours a month.

Super easy to install, high quality, no complaints. This makes the shifter feel more realistic. Yes you might shift slower but I find it feels more like a real shifter, and it's harder to miss a gear. Very solid. Pops right off if you change your mind. It's made of a hard plastic and it slides on to the shifter and stays. Has not popped off yet.

Bought and liked it for about 3 days then it snapped in half as I was shifting gears on American Truck Simulator…nice smooth easy shifting n bam it snapped in half…POOR QUALITY, trust me ppl don’t waste ur money find a metal one instead

I mean the title pretty much says it all. When it comes to the Logitech G29 and its goofy, sad, plastic shifter most mods require some form of intense install or modding. This? Not at all. All you do is take the stock knob off and slide this thing on, no hardware required. The fit is tight and shows no sign of loosening or falling apart. You can then either buy an adapter to stick a real shift knob on it or screw the Logitech's stock knob back on and you are good to go. It's a simple product that does exactly what it says it will do but it makes a really big difference in the feel and usage of the G29 shifter. I would go so far as to say that if you have a G29 or any other Logitech wheel and shifter combo this is a must have product.

I'd rather it slid over the shaft and used a setscrew because it is a press fit, and I don't think I will be able to remove it if I need to take the shifter apart. Other than that, it works great. You WILL lose a lot of "feel" in the shifter, so I recommend using the shim mod on the detent spring FIRST. I also feel like my shifter is too high now and need to lower it.
