This is a good little camera for tucking away in your hotel room. The video quality is not bad, but in my house I don't really have any outlets that are tall enough, so all I ever see is feet and the cats walking by.Things to note: This does not have its own sim card. There is no audio. It does not connect directly to the phone or computer. You must take out the sim card and put it in your own sim card reader.Overall I think it works great, although I haven't got much use out of it yet, other for testing purposes.

This small surveillance camera is fairly discreet, it’s also a functional USB charging adapter. The camera has a reasonably good field of view, but the 1080p video quality is relatively low. The video quality tends to greatly diminish in low light conditions, and from distances of more than a few feet, as well.There are two basic modes of operation, continuous recording, or motion detection only. So far, I’ve only used it in motion detection mode, the motion detection is surprisingly good. It seems to activate and record reliably, whenever motion is detected.When the memory card is full, the oldest files are overwritten first. It doesn’t have a night vision feature, or a microphone, so there isn’t any audio recorded. It has to be plugged in to an electrical outlet, power strip, or power bank, for it to record.All of the accessories necessary for use are included, except for the micro SD card, which must be purchased separately. If you plan to use it to record frequently, then I would recommend getting a larger capacity storage card. It’s fairly simple to use, but some initial setup is required, to set the time.It blends in well when placed on a fully loaded power strip, beside other power adapters. When properly hidden, it’s very hard to notice, unless you know it’s there, or you meticulously sweep the room for cameras. The best hiding place is sometimes in plain sight.It’s a fairly useful camera on its own, but the capabilities are somewhat limited. Aside from being ideal for specific applications, it’s probably best suited as a supplemental camera, used in conjunction with other security cameras. For applications that are higher than ground or outlet level, it may be difficult to properly aim the camera for optimal viewing.I’m currently using it on a ground level power strip, in my office, to monitor my small refrigerator, as someone has been helping themselves to my energy drinks, without my permission. I have a pretty good idea of who the culprit is, but I’m hoping to obtain video evidence, which if obtained, will be shared appropriately, and used for public humiliation of the offender, or offenders, should that be the case.Overall, I’m satisfied with this USB charging adapter camera. At around $25, it’s a good value, an option worth considering. If you’re looking for this type of camera, this isn’t a bad choice.

After two weeks. I tried to switch to Motion detection mode is not working. Bad Product.

Do not get this if you are thinking you are wanting to have a charger as well as a camera because it is the slowest charger you can imagine. The recording aspect is fantastic and the option for motion detection makes it really very nice because otherwise you would need a huge memory card, like a 1T. It works very well beginning to record the moment it detects motion - impressive really. I was disappointed that it doesn't record any sound which I just assumed it would. The video quality is just ok, but good enough to see and record what it needs to. It is certainly a better video quality than it would have been from a good video recorder 20 years ago...and that was from a very large video recorder! Now this tiny little camera that easily fits in the palm of a hand is able to capture video with only motion as a prompt to record. For the price, this is really very good and I intend to use it a lot while traveling, and maybe to reassure myself that the chocolate chip thief in my house is, indeed, my husband. LOL

This thing is just awesome for the price, BUT the video quality is not as good as I had been hoping for. I'll break down pros and cons below:Pros:* Small and inconspicuous. Looks like a USB adapter, and WORKS as an adapter so you can plug in a usb device to it and it will charge and function as normal.* Removable micro SD card allows for you to install a card with the appropriate size you're looking for especially if you plan to do continuous recording versus motion detection only.* Can set for Motion capture to save space or put on continuous recording which will overwrite the older files as the card gets full.* Has wide angle lens so you get a pretty good amount of coverage from the location of the device.Cons:* Video quality is really grainy, especially at further distances so its not as high resolution as I was hoping for.* The camera can be seen in reflective light. While most aren't going to notice it, I wanted to point out that its not completely black, there is a small dot where the lens is located that can be seen when you look at it up close even to the naked eye.* No night vision so this camera only works in well lit environments.* Restricted to the location of your plugs, which most are down near the ground in your home. You can get creative and use an extension cord to plug the device into, but that can look awkward and take away from the discreet nature of it when just plugged into the wall.* no audio, only has video capability so if you are needing audio recording, this won't work for your needs directly.I like this for taking with me on future travels. I can set it up in my room using an extension cord and placing on a desk facing my personal belongings (let's say the room doesn't have access to a safe) or the door while I'm away and have the lights on in the room. I have not had items stolen from me personally, *knock on wood*, but if it was to occur while out of my room this would be a great option to have to look back and see exactly what happened. I'd hate to put this out there, but I could also see managers and store owners using items like this in their break rooms or other places within reason to keep close monitoring of their employees. Teachers in their class rooms, etc. After using this I am pretty much going to assume there is a camera somewhere, at all times, because it wouldn't be hard nowadays.Anyway, I hope this review has been helpful!
