Updated to 5 Stars from 2 Stars - Well made but not designed well to keep fingers warm.
Updated Review: It took Amazon a long time to post my initial review. I'm not happy about that delay. I am updating this review to 5 Stars. 2019-MAR-01I decided to personally contact Robert @ WindRider Intl and explain my concerns about cold fingers in the gloves I purchased. I received a prompt email reply from him and we discussed the finger tightness and he suggested that the XL size may be too tight for my fingers and recommended the XXL for me. I agreed and he sent me the XXL size in hopes to improve my cold fingers experience. I received the new XXL sized gloves within a few days. I then tried the larger size outdoors today. It was around 0F this morning and my fingers didn't get nearly as cold (nor as quickly as before) but only after 20-25 minutes of shoveling snow and then driving to work did my fingers get only a little cool. Not cold like before. I am very satisfied with this size glove and its performance and quality. This product and company earned a full 5 stars. It's business's like WindRider that I enjoy buying products from ... they are as good with their customer service as the products themselves. I appreciate this very much and will purchase WindRider products before others again in the future. Thank you Robert!Original review:I am not pleased with the claim these keep your hands/fingers warm when used in below freezing temps. I have other old gloves that these were to replace but these are not up to the task. The finger insulation is too tightly packed. Your palms are warm but your fingers are not. I would return them if I hadn't used them for a few days.

Great gloves- run small (my opinion)
The gloves are awesome. I was skeptical ordering $35 gloves online. I am currently in NW Montana skiing and it’s freaking cold; -40 to -60 windchills at the summit. My hands are WARM!!!!!4 stars instead of 5 because I think they run a touch small. XL gloves generally fit me great, I wish these were just a little bit bigger but honestly zero complaints. Will probably order the XXL when I return home.

Look and work great, great price, kept warm and dry snowboarding at 5 degrees
I like the look, fit, feel, and price of these gloves. We went to Snowshoe, WV a few week ago (mid Feb) and boarded for 3 day. Highs around 25 and lows around -1. Freezing rain half of day 3. Went snow tubing from 7pm-9pm one night with it around 0 degrees. These glove really surprised me. Never failed. Hands stayed dry. Kept very warm until the night we went tubing. Even then they were decently warm until after tubing form almost two hours with it at 0 degrees. Then my finger tips started to get a bit cold.We bought 3 different pairs of gloves off Amazon for this trip, all roughly the same price. These definitely outshined the other 2 pairs, one of which was decent and the other trash.Definitely recommend. I'm actually buying another pair of these from one of my sons to replace the one's I'd bought from a different brand at this same time off Amazon that ended up being trash.

Kept my Hands Warm and Dry in -7 degree F wind chill while skiing
These gloves worked very well during my recent ski trip at Breck. It was 1 degree one morning with a -7 degree windchill on the mountain, and my hands and fingers stayed warm and dry all day skiing (I did have a hand warmer pack inserted into the pocket on top of the gloves which added extra warmth, so that pocket is a nice feature to have). The second day I wore the gloves without any added heat pack as it was warmer (17 degrees), and my hands still stayed warm and dry all day skiing. I also have very large hands and long fingers (the XXL Dakine gloves I bought prior to buying these were way too tight and were returned). These XXL gloves fit well and broke in well after the first day of skiing. I will say that the tips of my fingers do touch the ends of the glove fingers, but it's not uncomfortable and I didn't notice it during my whole trip skiing. Overall I'm extremely impressed with the quality (kept my hands warm), construction (no wear whatsoever after 3 days of intense skiing), and fit (for XXL long fingered hands, these XXL sized gloves work).

Great Value, Keeps Warm in Cold
I wore these gloves through some extreme winter activities and was very pleased with how well they performed. The gloves kept my hands warm after hours of use in near-zero (Fahrenheit) temperatures (with a liner also) as well as for shorter periods of time in our record cold mid-west winter (~-30 degrees F). Waterproofing is very good, for the price; it held up for several hours in freezing rain and snow, better than much more expensive gloves that others in my group had. Although, be aware they take a long time to try off once wet. Likewise, they are very windproof. The touch screen tips do work ok, although generally speaking, I think it is near impossible to use a touch screen with any set of heavy gloves, since they are much clunkier than my fingers. Gloves are a little stiff, but rest in a relatively neutral position. In short, are there better gloves out there and improvements to be had here? Sure, but a comparable pair of gloves would cost at least 3x more and I'd still trust these gloves with most of my heavy duty winter needs.

Not warm enough
I've always had a problem with cold hands, so perhaps it's just me. We walk every morning in the cold Michigan weather, and the gloves I am currently using are of medium quality and above freezing, they do a satisfactory job. Always looking for something better, I selected these gloves, hoping that they would do a better job of keeping my hands warm. I was very happy to get them in a timely manner, and was anxious to try them out since they felt absolutely great when I first tried them on in the house. Yesterday morning we took the dog out and went for our walk. The temperature was 25deg F with no wind, and the sun was shining on occasion. After about ten minutes, the coldness started in my fingers, and I concluded that these gloves were inferior to the old pair I had been wearing, so I'm sending them back.

Great waterproofing and very warm.
Was dragging these in snow doing tail presses, and throwing snowballs, waterproofing held up all week! Warm good gloves
