I have now purchased a total of 4 shades from this company and each one is perfect! The shades are always made exactly to the measurements I provided and are very easy to install. I ordered 2 nearly 8 months ago and have enjoyed them so much I purchased 2 more for a different area of my home. The shade material is pretty thin but they offer great sun & heat protection and are super easy to open/close. I love how well they fit in my windows & I haven’t even needed to screw them in or make any permanent changes to my windowsill. Overall a fantastic purchase and one I would (& have) make again!

These are excellent! My husband works the night shift so we needed these for our master bedroom. We have older windows so we had to put them on differently. My husband built a frame for them to fit inside of but we knew that going in so it was no problem. They work great and look really nice. The assembly was easy and the fit was perfection. The room is dark now and much cooler too. We live in a very hot climate so that was an added benefit. The cool AC air stays in the room instead of escaping through the windows. Very clever design and the customizing was a huge benefit. Highly recommend.

These are an excellent overall deal. Measure exactly as the instructions tell you (minus 1/8 inch). You need that for the included foam seal, which wasn’t mentioned in the description. If you measure exactly as stated, the blinds will stay in via friction, no drilling/screwing needed. My windows are older, so I had to add extra foam seal to seal up the unevenness. But the foam sealed everything up well. And they stay put without any hardware. There’s no light from around the exterior. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is there’s some light that sneaks through between the blind and the frame channel. This can be mitigated via darkening/blackout pull shades over the top for full complete darkness. But, for claimed blackout shades, the extra shades shouldn’t be needed. Hence the one star deduction. This being said, I’d still buy more. Still work very well and are a good value.

I should have spent the $170 sooner, the large bedroom window, roughly 72 x 50 is completely blocked out in my rental apartment with no tools needed! It sounded too good to be true but it's just as advertised, complete black out. It arrived way faster than expected for it being custom made, I went with white frame and black blinds, it came in four pieces that snap together with ease, measurements were a perfect fit. I love the option from being able to open left to right. It's very good quality for the price! I've tried everything before this, from the cheapest options of cardboard in window to black tarp taped up, to more expensive options on Amazon and nothing compares to these due to the custom fit and ease of opening and closing. Please buy them and follow the instructions, you will not regret it!

These blinds are amazing! The shade material blocks out 100% of light. If your window frame is not perfectly squared, you may get light between the window frame and window cut out. However, item is shipped with a compressible spacer filler to fill up gaps. I went the extra mile and used window caulking for more finished look and to seal the frame all around 100%. Customer service was amazingly outstanding! I was skeptical at first by purchasing for one window. I ended up purchasing for five windows! I love the clean modern look. I highly recommend you to go ahead and make this purchase. Please measure very carefully.! Do not round up or round down. Manufacturer is very exact on measurement. Go for it!

These blinds installed perfectly! No problem at all. When you buy a 5 ft wide blind the headrail sags a little bit in the middle when you pull down on it. I glued it and it’s fine. Great product.

I've had an issue with my office getting extremely hot in the afternoons because windows are old, single pane, aluminum nonsense. They have tint film on them, had old blinds that you can twist the stick to open or close, and thermal curtains over that. Despite all that it would still get to over 80 degrees with fans and AC going. I even got a portable AC unit just to cool the room quickly from the inside but it was too loud to keep on continously. These blinds were so easy to put up and sooooooooo effective. 20 minutes tops. There are slight gaps around it because I don't have them secured yet by screws or tape as I wanted to test it first. But trust me when I say the difference is impressive as is. So much so that I'm buying more. I will get new windows eventually, but these are cheaper and will still be useful afterwards. I do wish there was a way to lock the corners into place one set up so they don't pop out during install, but it worked out with help. Update: got a replacement one after the cord snapped on an old one. They've made some upgrades and it's much more sturdy overall with a cleaner cord mechanism. I finally used the cushion along the edges and screwed them in, which eliminated the light gaps along the edges
