Worked great for me.
I'm surprised at the number of negative reviews of this product, and I wanted to share my positive experience with it. I made the bowl shown in the picture using basically two tools: the Lancelot grinder blade from King Arthur's Tools , and this bowl sander. The Lancelot tool is essentially a small chainsaw blade, so it leaves a very rough surface. To get from this roughed-out bowl to the polished finished product, I naturally had to remove a lot of material, and I did all of that with the Peachtree bowl sander. I started with some 40 grit sanding disks from another seller, worked my way up to 220 disks, and then did some hand sanding with 400 paper. (I'll get some 400 grit disks for my next project.) The bowl is about 10" across and made from ambrosia red maple, by the way.I had no problem with the hook-and-loop layer separating from the foam part of the sander, as some others have reported. Indeed, after finishing this project, the Peachtree sander shows no signs of wear at all. Perhaps this was because I was careful not to let the sander get too hot. I kept the speed of my drill relatively low, and would periodically check the temperature of the sander by holding it to my hand (with the drill stopped, of course). So I'm really happy with this product and with my free-form, live-edge bowl. not worth the price
The freight charge was almost the same as the cost. I will be more careful about making sure it is from Prime. This is an ordanary cheep foam based sanding tool and not worth the money.

Fills a gap in sanding
I had my first one break, but was able to work directly with Peachtree for a quick replacement. These are fairly light duty but fill a specific purpose. This is actually the second time I bought this product. Do beware that if you use this for a long period the adhesive they use gets hot and the device will fall apart. Go slow, take frequent breaks, and be careful with it and it will last a little while. Worth the cheap price to buy an extra in my opinion
