The detailing is good and factual, given the long list of references listed. Makes one understand better what went amiss from 11th century onwards, leading to a near implosion over the course of next few centuries. However, purely from a commercial viewpoint, the pricing is excessive for the length of content in Book 1. For better circulation, I would recommend a more fair price for the books to follow.
