Where I live has a high vaulted ceiling with two lamp fittings. Have historically used 250w incandescent bulbs, then BC florescent tubes, inside paper ball lampshades. Decided to try these LED lamps, which were installed exactly a year ago (August 2023). So far they have worked faultlessly, no dimming or failed LEDs and the two bulbs combined light the room well. Colour tone is warm white but slightly towards the whiter end of the scale which took a little getting used to after the florescent tubes but now would not change back. Very good quality. Would not recommend positioning them in direct line of sight as they are very bright, but inside paper lampshades they are fine.

I bought a couple of these for my garage as I wanted as much light as possible for as low power consumption as I could. Corn bulbs are the solution. Basically a whole bunch of LED's jammed into as small a place as possible.So, first off the looks. Industrial to be honest and not something I'd use in my house. Great in the correct place of course such as workshops, outside lighting etc.The colour tone is 6000k which is a blue white which, is ideal for working areas as it makes things look 'cleaner' and more visible. However, in a house most people prefer a warm white which, is around 3000k and gives that welcoming feel we tend to like when relaxing.Build quality seems fine. I doubt that if I got down to the brass tacks these would be as good as the expensive Philips stuff, but for the money decent value for what you are getting.The light level is excellent and with two in my garage I feel like I'm on a stage in front of a crowd. Plenty for good overall vision.So, a well priced decent quality lamp that punts out a lot of lumens for the power consumption and ideal for working areas.

Easy to fit.

Large Edison screw fit. Ideal for tall narrow light fittings and lamps. I have these in a number of small lamps, mainly with tall narrow cylinder shades. They are particularly good with glass opaque shades giving a very even illumination. Not bad in standard fabric shades too (as shown in my pic). Not convinced it's equivalent to a 160 watt traditional bulb but it iOS bright and crisp daylight/cool white.At about a fiver a bulb they aren't cheap but reasonable price considering the bulb type.Overall, I'd recommend these if you want a bright and even light from a table lamp or similar.

Fragile, absurdly unstable and won’t sit in conventional sockets. Useless - do not buy.

I use these as my driveway lights wow they are bright they light up a huge floor area perfect for taking out the trash or anything like that it’s pure pure white that’s all I can explain and the leds look really cool lit up at nigh Time

I have just received 2 boxes of these and the packaing says 150w halogen equivalent, 10w lesser than the product description ?
