This is a really nice, basic case, for the Kindle Scribe. Better than some of the other ones.It snaps in easily, but only covers the corners of the Scribe (maybe that's all that's needed). But, i imagine you may want more coverage on the sides if it gets dropped. I've heard that the Amazon Cases allow the Scribe to slip out, especially if dropped...so, this one would protect better in my opinion.The loop is nice to hold the pen (if you are concerned about it popping off of the side), and it also works well as grip to open the case, or to unfold it when in Stand-Mode.One of my complaints (minor) is that, when folded behind the Scribe, the flap slips around, and isn't held in place very well. It pops off often. I assume, because of magnets that arent super strong.When in Stand-Mode the magnets seem sufficiently strong, at least to hold it in place.All in All... this is definitley a good/cheaper alternative to the Amazon Case for the Scribe.

But these for my Kindle scribe premium pencil and work just as the ones the pencil came withPrice was greatRecommended

To say it is a standing case or a case with a stand is a bit of a stretch. It can, but it can fall easily. There is no way of "locking" it into stand mode so just the touching of turning the page can cause it slide down unless you're holding it in place. It does add more weight than I expected, but I understand why. It's because of the extra protection it provides to the corners and back of the Scribe. The biggest issue with other cases that only attach magnetically is how easily the tablet can come loose from the case. If you drop a magnetic case there is a good chance for damage unless it falls flat on the front of back of the tablet. With this case, the tablet is secure inside the case. I take my Kindle Scribe with me to work daily so protection is important. I've been using this Ayotu Stand Case for about 3 months of daily commute, home, and office use. It has held up well and my Scribe still looks brand new.
