Candles are as expected. A reliable product. Fortunately have not had to use them yet.

Perfect burn, long lasting
Perfect burn! Our first try burned for more than 9 hours and it burned perfectly clean just like the original candles from REI. These candles are most welcome as the last set of UCO style candles all melted prior to being burned by the wick and made a great mess. Not to mention they didn't provide 8 hours of light.

Well Grounded
Candles that are short and stout , as with the human race, dont fall over , and set fire to the house. These stout candles are excellent , and a resonable price. Hard to find in amongst the mass of fashion candles, these will do the job, provide light , and if one lights all of them at once, provides a somewhat slow way of heating food, or boiling a pan of water....or, if in a hurry for that hot hot curry, they can be the source for setting fire to one,s house if one is very tall , and inebriated., and needing a lot more heat , rather suddenly. I would recommend these candles to anyone , needing some good value lighting , when one,s national expenditure on essential energy supplies, and a decent , modern infrastructure, is secondary to the development of military hardware, and sales thereof.
