Even-up Limb Levelling Device - Single Device - Left and Right - Equalise Limb Length while wearing Fracture Boot, Medical Shoe or Cast Protector (UK 3-7)

I quickly found out I needed the even up after being fitted with a fracture boot following some very uncomfortable weeks on crutches. The misalignment caused in my spine by the height of the boot made what was already a very sore back even worse almost immediately.The even up was super easy to use. It took no time to adjust to the correct height and securely fitted to my shoe in seconds. The relief on my spine was instant, along with a much improved sense of balance and steadiness on my feet. It's also handily shaped to fit either the left or right foot to remove any guesswork.After being fitted with the fracture boot, I could move slowly on both feet with the aid of crutches for extra balance and some weight support. The even up improved that experience further, helping me to adjust much quicker to wearing the boot and gain confidence that bit faster. Would definitely recommend.

I've been using this medium size Even-Up every day for nearly a fortnight so far, and expect to need it for another 6 weeks. So far it has been brilliant and I'm really glad I got it. Advertised as size UK 7-9, my trainer is a UK 6.5 but it fits perfectly. I'd originally tried the small Even-Up (size UK 3.5-7) but it was dangerously too small, both in length and width, so that had to be returned.I'm currently wearing a medical AirCast boot due to a ruptured Achilles tendon, so my left foot is currently about 2" taller than my right foot. I initially thought this Even-Up was still a fraction shorter than I'd like, even using all the layers, however I've got used to it now. It means that I can walk and stand without feeling that my hips and back are out of alignment. I had just over a week with the boot before I got an Even-Up, and in this time I had occasional aches in my lower back and also under the ball of my right foot if I tried to walk or stand without the crutches.The Even-Up allows me a lot more independence as I can now walk without crutches, well as normally as you can without being able to flex one of your ankles! I do have to walk slower than my usual brisk pace, but that is more due to the boot (which has an internal high heel) than the Even-Up.It has plenty of grip on the bottom sole, and I haven't had any problems with my trainer slipping out of the Even-Up, it feels very secure.However - fair warning - in the early days I had a couple of occasions where I misjudged the height of my new platform sole while walking in the house, and I caught / stubbed it against the thicker carpet, due to not lifting my foot up high enough. To stop myself from falling I automatically bent my left leg slightly - which then felt like it pulled my calf a tiny bit, not good in the circumstances... To be fair though, I haven't had that since, I suppose it is just being careful while you get used to it (don't get overconfident too early).Price wise, I'll be using this Even-Up for about 8 weeks in total so it works out about £4 per week. I'm happy this is value for money considering the benefits I've described.I would definitely recommend using this, but do make sure you get the correct size for your shoe - check the chart giving measurements in mm/cm rather than just shoe sizes, since some trainers (like mine) have a larger than expected sole.In case it helps, I've measured the sole of my UK 7-9 size Even-Up: the width is 8.5cm at the narrowest point and 11cm at the widest point, and it is 30cm long.

I bought this as I’ve recently had an operation on my Achilles tendon and have been in a cast for 6 weeks. I’m now starting to weight bear and have an air boot which is at least 3cm high. Upon walking with the crutches, I noticed that the opposite hip was giving me pain so decided to try this out to even my foot height. Initially, I found it really awkward. It’s not particularly flexible which you need on your good foot and it feels quite clumpy, but after taking out one of the insoles, it felt more comfortable. I’m pleased I bought it as it does even my gait/height and am definitely getting less hip pain.

Brilliant having a boot on other foot for at least 6 wks I knew I needed to be level or would throw my hip out, this does exactly what it says brings you level and easy to walk in just added it to a trainer.

These come up very small. I ordered a UK 7 to 9 for a size 8 shoe but it's way too small. Ordered a UK 10 to 14 and that fits an 8 OK but doubtful if would it be right on anything larger. Photo shows the 10 to 14 on a size 8 shoe. Functionally they work; if the sizing had been more accurate I'd have given it 5 stars.

I don't know how people survive without a shoe leveller when wearing an orthopaedic boot and using crutches. The injury is a real nuisance but the Evenup has at least meant that I can walk without looking lop sided and damaging my hip. Works a treat.

I was really hopeful after reading the reviews that this product would raise my other leg to the same level as my injured leg with support boot. It did not do this at all. In fact the strapping would not even hold my shoe even though I tried several shoes, making it dangerous and a trip hazard the countless times it started to fall off when walking. I really don’t see how this item been so poorly manufactured to simply not take into account that a support boot is of a certain elevation when first fitted so it needs to make sure it’s at the same height. It is simply not fit for purpose and really a waste of money.

Might be OK if they send size that fits.1st attempt massive, size 10-142nd attempt 5.5 - 9I am a 5 & ordered for 5, this last one a trip hazard for someone already unstable with broken bones, but also keeps slipping off my shoe at heel as still too big.I now give up & am not going to try again
