This is just lovely, and a perfect sketchbook. It's sturdy and robust, with good quality paper which is perfect for all dry mediums, and thick enough to be able to use both sides without bleeding through. The paper is quite smooth, and though I might have preferred it to have a little more tooth to use with pastels, I think it will still work well with pastel pencils. It has a ribbon to keep your place, an elastic holder to keep it closed, and a pocket at the back. Though this opens out you wouldn't be able to close the book if you put much in it. I like that it's vegan leather, and it still has a nice finish. Though the internal wrapper says it's leather which they might want to adjust.

Stunning! Presentation 10/10, like unboxing an iPad. The paper is wonderful for sketching. In comparison to a very popular much more expensive model - this is easily equal, if not better. Am thrilled, and have just bought another.

Starting off by saying I NEVER write reviews, but I’m blown away by this sketchbook from the incredible packaging to the high quality paper and the high quality feel of the cover, this is definitely a sketchbook I’d recommend any artist to have in their collection.

I would give more starts if I could. This sketchbook is beautiful and feels more expensive. I love a good notebook and I bought this so I can write with my dip pen and ink, because the pages are a bit thicker. It’s hard to find a notebook that supports dip pen, so I was worried that the paper might bleed through. But I am amazed that the paper does not bleed through and there is very little ghosting on the next page. I love that the book is A4 sized, most notebooks are smaller but I prefer a bigger page. Texture of the paper is beautiful, the writing is so smooth, even with dip pen, which is amazing. Makes me want to write every day! I couldn’t be happier. Beechmore will be my main supplier for notebooks going forward.

Good quality paper, nice, sturdy cover. Bought to use as a scrapbook for my mothers 50th (we had over 250 photos) and barely filled it halfway.

Was not expecting the weight of this sketch book, but takes nothing from it . It is a good solid sketchbook , beautifully made and very pleasing to the eye and touch. I tested the paper with lots of heavy body acrylic ( Liquitex)acrylic and when dry worked over it with Posca pens . This paper took it all without any problems . I had slight concerns that with the perforations on the pages , lots of work on a single page may loosen the page , it did not ! Even with all initial brush work. No water was used , acrylic straight from tube . After using Posca pens, there was a slight curling at the outer edges of the page but once everything dried and book closed they settled down perfectly . As an artist this sketch book will be a workhorse ! So many pages , easy to work on on your lap, it is that solid and opens flat very well. Possibly too heavy to cart around with you but will be on my desk as a go to now. I can definitely recommend this sketch book , it really is beautiful. Good delivery , beautifully presented .

Just what I was looking for.

A much appreciated gift

I hope they never change the materials because I'll keep buying these as I fill them. I am an artist with a lot of free time to draw in pen and pencil and have bought extras of these for friends since I enjoy the premium feel. The leather has survived countless all season Canadian outdoors, activities like fishing, hiking, curious pet bird bites, you name it. Even the bookmark strap is tough whereas my moleskins just fall tf out. The paper has a nice heaviness lays very flat from first page to last and doesn't bump from crease which is phenomenal for drawing on. The white of the paper is a bit creamier/off-white which is worth the mention but a nice choice imo. Each unboxing of the book gives as much dopamine as the first time; very outstanding packaging. You can tell they put a lot of thought into making this product from start to finish so I'd like to thank you for making an over the top amazing book.
