You can buy this clock with confidence. I saw this 1 star "review": "The clock was a gift and has proved to be a non-silent so not as advertised, very disappointed and the build quality poor." and nearly didn't buy it. Believe me this clock is SILENT. Yes if you stick your ear right smack bang hard up against it you may be able to hear a slight faint sound. It isn't "noise" and this clock is 100% silent. The "build quality" is as you would expect - perfect. I am not sure what this person wanted for £8 but it looks and works fine. If I was to be 'gripey' - I would say that it is gold coloured, not shiny gold plastic as I had expected, but it is still a great looking clock. So take no notice of the 3,2,and 1 star ratings buy it with confidence, like me, you will be glad you did! I ordered on Saturday and it was in my hands on Tuesday, on standard second class FREE delivery. Amazon is so brilliant I fell sorry for our postman!

A very stylish little clock. Just the right size to fit in my hand when setting the time/alarm. Easy to use, alarm can be snoozed with one press of the top right button. Numbers glow green in the dark by pressing top left button and the back light also comes on and goes off again automatically.

Quite nice but still unable to see the face when lit

I received this attractive medium sized non ticking alarm clock about 2 weeks ago. I have it situated away from my bedside so have to get up to switch the side mechanism off. With that there’s not switching off and going back to sleep. It’s got a loud alarm and so far it works well. I recommend this good quality affordable priced Alarm clock to anyone looking for a clock to awake them.

While I like the style, the brightly lit clock face, and the quiet sweeping hands, this clock will now have to be thrown out. It fails to do the one thing it is meant to do: sound an alarm at a set time. More and more often I can hear a clicking noise when the clock reaches the time it is set to to go off, and then the clock fails to actually sound the alarm. This makes the clock worthless as an alarm clock to wake up to!

Really quiet only drawback you have to press the button to be able to see the time when it's dark.This is a bit Noisy .Otherwise not a bad buy.

I love this clock - it's silent, keeps good time, the dial is luminous and it's well made.

I think this is a great little clock. I bought it for my mother who has macular degeneration of the eyes. She finds it fairly easy to use and carry since she can’t use watches any more. It is very cheap, so I then bought a second one for her, one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

Ce réveil est dorénavant placé sur mon bureau et j'apprécie son silence. Il est d'une taille suffisante pour capter l'heure d'un seul regard. Je recommande ce produit.

L'heure reste parfaitement juste (après un mois), la lisibilité est très bonne, je n'ai pas testé la fonction réveil qui ne m'est pas utile. La taille correspond exactement à mon besoin, j'aurai aimé un affichage digital mais les dimensions sont trop grandes... La dorure reste discrète, pas trop brillante et le blanc est le plus visible. l'éclairage par led est efficace. Pour finir, livraison dans les temps avec emballage correct, fidèle à la réputation d'Amazon Satisfaite, je recommande.

super petit réveil que l on peut emporter en voyage , facile d 'utilisation , silencieux , s "eclaire la nuit . très élégant , je le recommande à tout le moindre et surtout aux personnes âgées qui ne savent pas utiliser un réveil sans les aiguilles .

Parfait, plus de tic tac très silencieux, un petit bouton pour voir la nuit, une sonnerie douce, réveil sans douleur garanti :)

L'avantage de ce réveil est que l'on règle les aiguilles manuellement et rapidement et il est silencieux. La sonnerie n'est pas agressive. Les inconvénients : Pour voir l'heure la nuit on doit appuyer sur un bouton alors que je pensais qu'il n'y avait rien à faire et ensuite il est tout doré et très léger ce qui donne une impression de camelote.
