AY 3 CHESTNUT

Smells terrible. I have no clue how other people can think this smells good. It smells like rotten cherry blossoms to me. Or old cherry flavored candy. Coughdrops?. Something I can't place, but is not pleasant nonetheless. Luckily, it's only for a minute or two and the scent dissipates to nothing.The moisturization however is fantastic! I haven't noticed any reduction in redness but the irritation has been cut in half! I've started my prescription Tretinoin again and the process is super annoying for those who don't know. Dry, flaky skin all the time. Redness, irritation, raw skin feeling. Just the worst.This moisturizer has really helped to keep the problems at bay and make it a non issue really. I've yet to find something that has worked as well.I love the package (beautiful glass bottle with awesome pump), love the performance, its just the scent that keeps this from being a 5 star product for me

This is just kinda like a good moisturizer for me. I don't notice any reduction in skin blemishes using this nor further skin agitation. For that I don't think the amount you get at this price point is worth it. I have very oil, sensitive and acne prone skin, for reference. the packaging is stunning, but that actually product itself reminded me of my five dollar moisturizer.

I wasn't sure about this cream at first, or its smell. I first tried it on the back of my hand and it definitely omits redness but doesn't really moisturize. Then I tried it on my face and while it still doesn't seem to moisturize, it does leave my skin smooth/soft and works nicely on top of the vitamin E oil to sort of balance the shine, if that makes sense. When I first smelled it I didn't like it at all, but upon second use it's sort of like candy when you first put it on and then it goes away. The price is a little on the higher side but it does work and I feel one bottle will last a long time as you really don't need a lot of it. I had a red splotch on my cheek this morning and it all but disappeared after putting this on, so... 4 stars because I don't think I'd call this hydrating at all.

I love everything about this cream besides the scent! It smells so bad to me. I wish it was scent free because then it would be an excellent cream. The cream itself is very light weight. It really helped with the reductions of redness on my face. It also leaves my skin very soft without it feeling heavy. I just can’t bare the scent. I kept getting wiffs of the smell so it makes wearing very unpleasant.

This moisturizer is interesting in that texture wise it feels a bit loose and watery, but when applied it does leave the skin soft with almost a waxy feel to the surface. My skin does seem moisturized though. The most striking thing though is the scent for me. It's very unusual for a skin product. It reminds me of the fragrance that come with scented colored pencils. The other drawback is the bottle. It's beautiful and functions well but is a bit heavy so not something that would travel well. Overall though it is a good product that is vegan and cruelty free.
