I use the Mayjoy Bamboo lap desk mostly for playing Sudoku. Some criticize the fact that the rigid sides seem to be plastic, which doesn't bother me. It still gets the job done, and the rigid sides make it taller than other lap desks had that had a padded bottom filled with tiny beads--they always end up leaking out. The Mayjay has a padded bottom, but it's sponge rubber or something similar. The interior storage area is the largest I've seen-see photo. If necessary, I'd buy it again.

Nice little item to use on the couch. Makes the height of the laptop more appropriate and comfortable for quick evening couch jobs: creating shopping lists or pick up orders; charting digital notes; adding to the amazon cart. Also good for crossword/sudoku puzzles. Pretty and not an eye sore to leave on the couch either. I do appreciate the little storage capability which holds the book I'm reading, the puzzle book I'm working on, and a pencil. Good little find.

For some reason there appears to be rust on the magnets that hold the lid on but I just wiped them down and it's fine 🤷‍♀️

I dropped this thing once and the wooden top split.It is lightweight and allows the heat to leave my laptop without getting on me, so I still use it, despite the damage. It is big enough to place a notebook laptop inside, but not much else. My laptop is for gaming, so it doesn't fit and I use it to store my headphones and drawing tablet.

This is PERFECT ! I put my coloring stuff in here and it is so nice to be able to grab and go

I love the color, love the feel of the wood, love the compartment, love the little squish on the bottom, not too much not too little, love the inside straps to hold everything in, ans the corner straps to make sure the top doesn't fall off while holding the top handle! I also just realized that there's a hole in the top part of the wood to get the lid off BUT ALSO, put the charging cord into! It's big enough to fit a MacBook Pro charger through it!!!!!!!!The whole compartment of the laptop thing is deep enough to probably fit 3-4 MacBooks there! Very happy person, here!!!

I bought this for my husband to take to church so he has something to bear down on during a sermon. It fits his Bible and pens. The only thing he wishes is that it had another inside strap that for extra security.
