These were basically bought in a hurry. A last minute holiday and little time to prepare meant I need some swimming shorts in a hurry. I picked up these and  Zoggs Penrith Men's Shorts - Black, Large  together.I've long since given up caring about fashion so if you're after a style review look elsewhere. What I can say is that they're comfortable both in the pool and out and the medium size fitted my 32" waist well. After a week of swimming in the Mediterranean these have held up well, fabric and shape is pretty much as new. If I'm being picky the pockets billow out when in the water - a zipped or popper would have been useful but other than that no complaints.Yes, they were twice the price of the previously linked Zoggs shorts (though all round better shorts) and to be honest you can probably pick up something comparable in Primark for about the same money but they did as I wanted so no complaints.

I am extremely happy with my purchase. The swim trunks look and feel great! They also dry amazingly fast!The only downsides were not knowing the pockets wouldn't be sewn in, meaning they come out when in the pool. Also the stitching , on the outer seams isn't perfect. You can see gaps where there shouldn't be. Overall, great value for money. I would invest in a second pair.

They are great but it does not tighten enough

Bought these a few months ago, and have used them regularly since.A really nice pair of swimming shorts. Come down to about an inch above my knee (I have a 32" inside leg).4 reasonable sized pockets. Upper ones are deep enough to store any essential items you need to carry, and are made of a mesh, but arent stitched into the lining, so do have a have a tendency to come out while swimming when they have nothing in them.Material is thick enough to not look flimsy, while thin enough to try out reasonably quickly.Overall a good pair of shorts, whether for swimming or lounging. Although the pockets can be a bit of a pain!

I've bought two pairs of these shorts both "XL", the first pair I bought the fit was perfect, with the second pair when laid on top of the first pair was about four inches larger and the elastic in the waistband doesn't stretch....the length is okay, but the stated waist size various in actual size.... There is obviously a problem with quality control.....I've found this with other shorts/trousers, the stated waist size can vary between garments...

The product looked great and fitted well as expected, however, there was a problem with stitching on the lh pocket and the pocket could not be used. Just a manufacturing fault, so I returned the shorts and reordered another pair. The Amazon customer service rep was very helpful and organised the return of the faulty item. Hope the new one is okay.
