Can RGB lights be controlled?

Yes. The RGB button on the AM8T gaming microphone can switch on and off and change colors without affecting the operation of the microphone. You can long press the RGB button for 3 seconds to switch on and off and tap to change the color.

What is the maximum thickness that the clamp can handle?

The PC gaming microphone boom arm can mount tightly to the desk up to 2.1” thick. Overly rounded or overhanging desktop edges do not make good mounting surfaces.Make sure the C-clamp are resting on the flat surfaces.
