Sculpting light: a diffuser’s soft touch
Photography often hinges on the play of light and shadow. With this diffusion dome, I found I could sculpt the light to my liking, achieving a softness that flattered my subjects and imbued my photos with a professional grade look. It’s malleable, lending itself to a variety of lighting scenarios, from a full glow to a directed beam. The mounting was a simple affair, the adapter rings accommodating a range of flashes with a secure fit. It became a trusted tool in my kit, subtly enhancing the light without announcing its presence, allowing the results to speak for themselves.

Took a little testing but I think it works great
I've given five stars because this is really a great item to use with flash although I did have to experiment a little bit. What I mean by that is that the colour output of the flash is changed by the diffusion dome and I got different colours with and without diffusion dome. What I found for me was that I had to change from the flash colour temperature setting on my camera to daylight colour temperature and then when I'm using the dome everything looks correct. That may be different on your camera of course since they are all different but for me that simple change got me back to the colour temperature I was expecting and absolutely you get a much softer kind of light with this diffusion dome compared to using the flash on its own. It's also very easy-to-use with the adapter ring and you can squash the diffusion dome down and so on so it's a very practical and convenient tool to use.

Handy portable flash softener.
This is a 14cm diameter soft silicon, opaque white ball. One end is open and has a couple of small lugs which are needed, but not very helpful, to stretch the opening in order to fit the ball to one of the three included adapters. The three adapters are for rectangular speedlights, round speedliughts, and what looks like a proprietary mini version of the three lugs familiar to Bowens users. The ball itself is squashable to create slight different configurations.A handy bit of kit to soften flash light, and certainly a lot better than those opaque things that are about the same size as the flash head.

great product
The diffuser is well-made and durable. It's made of a soft, translucent silicone material that diffuses the light evenly and reduces harsh shadows. The diffuser also comes with three adapter rings, so it's compatible with a wide range of speedlites and video lights.I've been using the diffuser for a few weeks now, and I'm very happy with it. It's made a big difference in the quality of my photos and videos. The light is now much softer and more flattering, and I'm able to get a more even exposure across the frame.

Pure white, soft and defused light Modifier for Round and rectangular Speedlight flash.
I am blown away with the exceptional quality of this Neewer flexible silicone defuser dome light modifier. I believe every photographer should have one of these. It is crafted to provide high quality soft and defused light to on camera flash photography such as weddings and parties where you won't have full control of the lighting setup. It is a very versatile piece of kit with basically every fitting adopter for conventional rectangular shape Speedlights regardless of the branding. It has a round adapter ring for V1 Godox type Speedlights as well as NEEWER own Z1-C Z1-N Z1-S Z2 Speedlights. I have tested it with NEEWER, Godox V1, Godox AD200, Nikon SB700 and Yongnuo YN560 IV flashes and the quality of soft defused light is so natural like no flash was used. There are no harsh shadows at all and illumination is very flattering.Dome is made out of a high quality soft silicone that can be squeezed into many different shapes. It can throw 360° degree with full dome, half dome will cover 180°. It is also compatible with continuous video lights.I could just keep going on and on but to cut this review short, this is one light modifier that you must own if you want to carry it along on location. Whether it's a wedding event or a house party, this defuser is enough to give you professionalLevel of lighting. Very easy to mount on various Speedlights and lightweight to carry it all day on top of your camera.I am absolutely delighted with this modifier and highly recommend it.

Compact softness
Want soft light but don't want to carry a huge softbox everywhere? This might be for you.You get a soft rubber dome (which is actually 2 half domes pushed together over a plastic ring). There are 3 adaptors to use it with a variety of flashes or constant lights. I use this with an AD200 Pro.You get very soft light out of this but at a cost - power. It's quite thick rubber so younlose power there. Then there is the shape- this softens light by dispersing it in a 360 degree direction so instead of your power going all in one direction it is greatly dissipated. With an AD200 in low-ish light I just about get away with it. I have not tried with a lower powered flash (because I don't own one) but this almost definitely won't work in daylight as you will lose too much power. Otherwise, it's a very neat solution for portable soft lighting

A very clever and versatile diffuser in one package
This is a well thought out, or rather designed, device in the shape of the Neewer CRS6 Diffusion Dome. It comes in a cardboard box together with 3 adapter rings: a Neewer mount, a round mount with clip and with a standard ¼ thread plus an oblong one to suit a speedlite plus instructions. As there is a central tripod/light stand bush on the speedlite mount with a standard ¼ thread its very easy to attach as required. The actual ‘dome’ comes collapsed as in half its size so you simply push it into shape. The mounts are easy to insert - the ring mount is already in to give an idea - as the dome is of silicone type material so quite workable. I am currently using the speedlite mount - see photos - which is attached by twin wind down screws to the light plus on the top is a ‘cold shoe’ slot for possible use. As well as the dome being capable of collapsing as required, the dome itself is in two halves so its possibly to take front section off and use the back section as a reflector in its own right, so quite clever. So far this is working very well and I am still experimenting as to its uses. This is a very clever diffuser in one package plus does not take up too much space once collapsed.

Versatile diffuser
Fits both my Canon Speedlite and Neewer TT560 flash units. Easy to assemble and comes with an adapter for round flash units as well. The diffuser dome is made out of a rubber-like material and does the job well. It makes the light less harsh. It does cut the light output somewhat compared to a bare flash head but it does the job.

Super Diffusor
Das Teil macht den Blitz weicher, frißt allerdings auch Licht, ansonsten alles OK.

Very useful attachment for the Neewer/Godox flashes
This is an amazingly lightweight and portable diffuser/softbox that works with several Godox/Neewer flashes. It not only diffuses the flash glare but its dome shape spreads the light evenly. The attachments make it very easy to carry them and use them with a variety of flashes and speed-lights.

Works well with a Canon Speedlite 430EX and a 600EX II
The first impression is that this ball is much bigger and heavier than expected, however, it works well. The kits comes with 3 adapters, a round one for the flashes like the Godox V1 or Neewer Z1; a rectangular for flashes like the Canon Speedlite that I am using or similar; and another one for round video lights or studio flashes (my Starflash 150 is not compatible with this). The Neewer flash accessory kit CRM2 is very attractive to add some affects to the diffuser independently of the lights or flashes being used. This helps have a kind of universal way to add a color or honeycomb effect to a shot. The possibility of collapsing it and making it full or half dome is interesting. I have only found it useful as a full dome so far.
