Used to make audio removable loom on post 2017 cx5 between head unit and amp so avoiding damaging factory wiring - just plug and fit - shame you didn’t have female unit available - I had to source from states and pay customs etc!

Used this wiring harness to wire up an aftermarket head unit in my 08 maxima. Followed the list on the back of the package. Each wire matched up with the new head unit colors so it was pretty straightforward. Plugged it all up and it worked, no issues!

This works, but I had to do some research to figure out how to map the wires on an aftermarket pioneer double din. Match by color for the most. This will cause headache if you have an aftermarket amp with subs, which I don’t, cause you’ll need to splice them into RCA cables. Right fit for the price and does the job! Note, you will need to purchase a separate steering wheel control harness and tap into the existing wires on the oem harness. Good luck!

Ever since installing this adapter I do not have to splice into my wiring system it completely saved me from HOURS of work and by chance destroying my wiring system the quality of the pictures and clear an vivid and for the small price it goes a long way and it fits without being noticed as well as everything was all plug and play and within an hour I had my radio up and running again

for $7 it's a deal. HOWEVER It doesn't extend all of the factory cables. I wanted to use the steering wheel controls, but of those 3 cables none were connected. I didn't check which other ones were missing but looks like at least 5 are missing. MOST of the cables are labeled with what they are. I found 2 cables without labels, and simply taped them up as they didn't affect the system performance. The labels are screened onto the wires in light white letters, which are very hard to discern sometimes. The radio kit that I bought alongside this came with all wires having sticker labels wrapped around the cables which made identifying cables much easier, especially in the small workspace.
