Not easy to assemble
I think the 8-12 year Olds will really struggle and need assistance to complete. Given as a gift to a 11 yr old that has many hours of model. building experience. He got started but became very frustrated with directions and needed assistance. I would recommend for older builder who has experience with this type of model building.

Very fun with a challenge. I wish some of the pictures where more in depth on where pieces go or the assembly joining several pieces. But its still fun.

mmm.... not funny
We gave this Car Building Set to our 11 year old son. He easily assembles the most complex Legos, but this one was complicated. Instructions are unclear, difficult to understand. Dad helped all the time, and he was the one who put it together. The car is beautiful, but a child cannot assemble it himself. Bad instructions
