Glad I didn't focus on the reviews from others who said this brand's mattresses were extremely too firm. This one is just right for me and that's saying something, because I have lots of back problems, and in the past I always needed to add a memory foam topper on these type of mattresses. So I saved $100 by choosing this mattress because I don't need to also buy a topper pad.One thing to remember about memory foam is that it has a different feel depending on the room temperature. The warmer the temperature in the bedroom, the softer these types of mattresses will probably be. The colder the temperature, the more they can feel stiff and wooden. I left my TempurPedic pillow in the car overnight in the winter, and it was hard as a brick. So if this mattress feels too hard, try using a space heater in the bedroom to see if that makes a difference.I was able to drag the box inside, unwrap it, and set up this Queen size myself without help from another person. The King size might require two people. I did accidentally rip the thin mattress cover on the bottom side when trying to move it myself.There is an unpleasant chemical/petroleum odor in the bed for several days after unboxing, but not as bad as other mattresses I've owned. Would recommend airing it out in the garage for 2 days before sleeping on it, if possible. I hope in the future the manufacturer will do the airing-out process themselves before shipping, to save the customer the hassle and the smell.I'm enjoying this on top of the "Zinus Gene 16 Inch SmartBase Deluxe Mattress Foundation" which has some clearance for storage under the bed, and makes the mattress lay high up off the floor.Some reviewers of this brand indicated they received free pillows with the mattress, but I did not. If the manufacturer will add free pillows, air out the mattresses on their end, and provide a more durable mattress cover, they should become a leader in this crowded category of affordable memory foam mattresses.I also planned to buy this brand's steel mattress foundation but their "Compatible Foundation with Decorative Cover" linked in this listing was not available, and their foundation without the decorative cover was more expensive than the Zinus Gene brand which had lots of good reviews.

When we first got these Twin XL mattresses for our adjustable bed, we absolutely loved them! Now, not even 6 months after, they are getting more uncomfortable as the center of the mattresses are breaking down and sinking in. I can not sleep on my side anymore. Not a very good mattress. I also can not get ahold of the company to discuss the problem!

It is so comfortable! But... the cooling gel doesn't cool anything. I woke up just plain hot the first few nights. We have to cut the heat waaaay down and cut the ceiling fan on to get it cold in the room. Worked like a charm. I snuggle in and don't move until the next morning. If that cooling layer had worked, it would've been a 5 star.

I love this bed. This is the second bed I purchased on Amazon and am absolutely thrilled. The packaging, however, was falling apart when I received it. The cardboard box was falling apart and barely together but luckily the mattress itself was sealed in a strong plastic bag and was not damaged. Before I took it out of the vacuum sealed bag, it was about the size of a twin mattress and it did not take long to reach full king size. It sleeps firm but is very comfortable. To keep from getting divets in the bed, we rotate it monthly...you do not have to rotate it that often but I would suggest every 3 months at least. The mattress cover can be easily removed for washing as it zips completely around its midsection. My only complaint is that to took a long time for it to be delivered. I would definitely recommended this mattress to anyone looking to purchase one on Amazon.

If I tell you what I did with this mattress, you will think I'm crazy, but since this is a review and I want to let you know how supportive this is....here goes. I have an aging English Mastiff dog and I was looking for the ultimate orthopedic dog bed. I've seen some on the market, but just not what was really up to my standards. So it was time for me to get a little creative. My dog has the "Beasley's Dog Couch" bed. The "mattress" it comes with is this chinzy thin egg crate insert. My English Mastiff is on the small side at 140 pounds, but there is no way that some 1 1/2" thick egg crate is going to provide any pressure relief for an aging arthritic dog laying on the floor. I had previously taken a cheaper memory foam twin mattress and cut it down to fit inside her dog bed zippered lining. It worked well enough, but as her age increases, along with her arthritis, it was time to pull out some bigger guns. So, I bought this mattress, and YEP, I cut it down to fit into her dog bed. This bed is really thick and it was no easy feat. My hubby had to get some heavy duty cutters out of the garage to get the task done and it took the two of us to do it. Not only is this mattress thick, it's heavy. As for myself, standing 6 foot at 160 pounds, I can stand on this mattress and my feet will not sink to the floor. Talk about support for the dog, it's just everything I wanted it to be and then some. I will agree with some other reviewers that it is a very firm mattress, but that's what I wanted for my beastie. The mattres has enough give to make it comfortable for her, but supports her entire body. My dog couldn't wait to get into her bed and we had to shoo her away, a few times, before we could even get the mattress completely into the liner as she had a small trial laying on it when my husband had put it on the floor in the bedroom before I had finished washing her dog bed cover. I apologize to the manufacturer for my horrifying deed of cutting this item up and for what may seem like a demeaning use of a wonderful mattress, but my dog is my cadillac on legs and there isn't a lot I wouldn't do to provide the best for her.
