Good replacement with one caveat
This assembly was identical to the one I replaced. The old one still worked, but made weird noises and took a while to fully shut off, probably due to scale build-up on internal surfaces. The height of the unit is adjustable to accommodate many different Toto toilets. The instructions contain a table that lists the height setting for each model. If I had used the setting listed for mine, the water level would have been much too low. I ignored the table and set the height to match that of the old unit, and that worked fine. Build quality is good, and the new unit should last a decade or more. Don't be afraid to use a different height setting than instructed if your situation so dictates.

Previously installed this valve 6 - 7 years ago. It has now developed a slow leak, likely from internal wear, so it needs replacement. The performance was fine while it worked, but buyers should be aware it won’t last indefinitely.

Perfect Toto part replacement kit.
This is a Toto part in a retail sales package. The part is a high quality product designed for a vast number of TOTO toilets. Instructions are very good and include a chart to match the model # stamped inside the water tank with the proper height adjustment guide on the replacement part. My setting was “4” and the toilet filled to the correct height. Replacing the complete fill valve assembly with this part will solve the problem with the water supply stopping and starting multiple times to fill tank. The actual defective part is a worn diaphragm that is a removable part. But I could not find just the diaphragm replacement that got good ratings. Spend the $ for this Toto part and solve the problem.
