Can be used to hold embroidery
Managed to fit two pieces of aida fabric and card into the gap to create a double sided embroidered fob, which looked very good. Did have to press the back on with some force. Some of the fobs had scratches on them, but once used, it wasn't as noticable.

Just what I wanted. Only slightly less substantial than some I have had but do the job nicely. Came individually wrapped and in a handy storage box. Value for money.

Poor quality and performance
After assembling the first five key rings, the next six I came across where already assembled and very difficult, if not impossible,not de-assemble in order to use them. I've had blank keyrings like this before from a different company and they were much better quality. Not very happy at all.
