Q: What is the lowest height for seat?

I am 4’ 11”. I brought this chair because of the seat depth, I have short legs. The distance from the top of the seat is 17”. I have my chair on the lowest setting and it is perfect!

Yes, my son found a comfortable chair instead of a stiff one,

Q: What is the hourly rating on this chair for use? Could a petite woman use this as a desk chair is she sits for long periods of time?

Yes..sturdy enough to bear the weight of a regular person. Only issue is if your floor are tiled it slides back do make sure you hold it so won't end up on the floor. Maybe manufacturer need to put a brake feature on one of the wheels
