boots are very easy to get on and off lace them up nice and firm from the first time wearing them foot plate is quite stiff vs my old lowa rangers hopefully the soles won't fall apart like the lowa's they say they don't need oiling out of the box but after a week in mud and water all day they got a good clean and dry then a high quality wax/oil the boots soaked it up looking good and easier to wash down after work so far so good very fast to get here only a week thats USA to NEW ZEALAND
