I'm a fan of it.
First, this thing is flimsy. I fully expected it to be, as it is nothing more than a sheet of titanium. It is basically a more durable form of aluminum at this thickness, which is EXACTLY what I want for the purpose of weight savings and practicality. The edges are sharp, so be careful. To be honest I'm kinda shocked there are grown adults on here leaving bad reviews acting all suprised that thin sheets of metal are sharp... I trimmed it down in height with scissors by about a 1/4" so it could nest inside my Toaks 750ml pot (tall version) wrapped around my 450ml mug. I use a small paper clip to keep it wrapped around the stove when burning. It does the job it is intended to, which is to block the wind from an alcohol stove. One more note, this is NOT meant to be used with a cannister stove. They are only for liquid alcolhol stoves like a Trangia or dried alcohol like an Esbit cube. Do not ever wrap a heat shield around a cannister, as this will heat up the can and cause it to potentially explode. This is common knowledge in the backpacking world and I'm kinda shocked (again) to see so many people talking about using them for that.

Perfect to make your own, light and strong.
Comes quite large, easily cuts down to the right length and height with a good pair of scissors. Pro-Tip: cut it to size and fold the ends in so they interlock with eachother as pictured, once you get it dialed in to the size you like, no point in messing with the rest of it, ditch the weight. Folding to interlock also prevents it from blowing away. Stuff sack is nice, but I just toss it into my 550 pot. It's Titanium foil, of course it's sharp, I don't think the brightest minds on planet earth would be able to make a Ti foil that wasn't.

Almost amazing.
Super light and packs small. Works awesome, but needs some sort of clip to keep it open... It want’s to grab my pot like a slap bracelet. A couple paperclips have been working for me.

best ultralight backpacking windscreen
i got this fairly far into my backpacking journey and ive got to say i wish i had it the whole time, it would have saved me so much time and money in so many places! first of all, its **ALMOST** indestructible. i put it around one of my mugs and that nests inside another cup and im never very nice when i do it and it gets bent and rolled and beat up but it doesnt tear and i can mostly straighten it out enough to roll it flat again. holds tight against my trangia burner and mini windblock, cuts down boiling 1L of water by whole minutes. doesnt fall over like flat panel foldable windscreens. you can trim the length but i let it wrap around more, doesnt seem to affect anything. worth its weight ten times over.

This is not meant for the TOAKS 750ml Pot
The TOAKS 750ml Pot and this item measurements sounded good enough to have this Wind Screen fit inside of it but apparently the description of the cooking pot or the sunscreen isn't telling the truth on their size. Either the cooking pot is smaller than it says or the wind screen is larger than it says in the descriptions. The Wind Screen appears to be made for the TOAKS 750ml Pot but it's not, it sticks out an extra 2mm so I figured maybe it'll be fine in the bag holding it all together but the lid was crumpling it as shown in the picture. I personally think this is intentional by TOAKS because the situation I'm faced with from here. I don't want to return it and it seems they want me to buy the next milliliter size up from 750ml in order to use this. They are both the same company and the measurements makes sense in both descriptions so there's no reason why it just barely wont work. Regardless if I'm wrong, this is just a let down.

Super light.
Super light, almost too light. If using in the wind it will likely blow away! You'll need to find some sticks or rocks to pin it in place. It's coiled super tight and wants to snap back into the size of a straw, which can snuff out your stove.

Real dimensions
Real dimensions 580 x 110 x .04mm, 12.3g without sack Came wrapped with a rubber band around the carry sack to keep it tightly rolled enough to survive shipping and "handling." Definitely requires care to avoid bends and 40 micron cuts.

Perfect Trangia Mini Windscreen
Works well for my Trangia Mini 28t setup. I added 4 small paper clips to the little stuff sack and they worked great to hold it open and in place while in use. It cooled down very quickly and I was able to pack it away inside the kit with everything else. Yes it’s sharp foil and you have to be somewhat careful while rolling it up but that’s just common sense. Works great for what it is and it was exactly what I needed.

Does the job

It’s lightweight for sure but too tall to fit a 750ml typical Toaks cup. Guess there will be some cutting to do

Very well made light and at the right thickness and height. Other similar products have magnets that make it a bit easier to set up but are made of much thinner material which makes them more difficult to use. A couple of paper clips will help with the setup just fine.

Winzig, leicht, stabil. Hitzebeständig. Kleiner gibt's keinen Windschutz. Ist zwar etwas frickelig die passende Biegung herzustellen aber das macht nix bei dem Fliegengewicht.
