BD Diesel 1041463 Exhaust Manifold Kit Dodge/Ram 1500/2500/3500 09-22 5.7L Hemi

So far, so good, (and quite.) Had the dreaded OEM bolt breaks (5 to be exact), and exhaust "tick." Instead of just repeating this process again later, thought an upgrade would be a better solution. and it was. I can feel a slight better pickup out of the gate. sensors seem to be happy as well. I am looking for another 10 years out of my Ram.

The OEM exhaust manifolds on my RAM 1500 5.7L Hemi began leaking exhaust gases after 120,000 miles. The symptom was a ticking sound, very much like valve lifter tapping noise. After research it turned out that this is quite common on this engine as the manifolds will warp over time from thermal cycling and typically break one of the mounting bolts at the rear of the manifold. I found that the rearmost bolt on the driver side had broken off flush with the manifold, allowing exhaust to escape when cold. After warming up, the ticking went away. The passenger side was nearly in the same condition as the rear bolt easily sheared off when being removed. I had seen numerous recommendations for this brand of manifold as it had more material in the ribbed areas preventing the warping from thermal cycles over time. I bought the complete package as it was less expensive than each side separately. All bolts needed were included for the manifolds as well as the cat converter flange. Instructions covered different setups but were easy to follow. I was pleased with these manifolds in terms of appearance, hardware included, and everything just fit right. They do cost more than some others, but I did not want to do this a second time.

2017 Ram 1500 Crewcab RWD So far so good! This thing is beefy and we'll made! Follow the instructions and all will go smooth. Be prepared to keep swapping out numerous sockets and wrenches to get them on and off. Over smooth install, will update if any issues. Lastly, Remember to disconnect both sides of the of the flanges as it makes it easier to remove and install the drivers side( says in instructions). Don't try to skip this or it will make your task a living hell, and follow the torque procedure or it WILL leak. Keep torquing every bolt until all have stabilized and have not moved! If it does keep going until it does not move at specified torque.

High quality, perfect fit. I hope I don't have to replace the manifolds again. OE manifolds warped and snapped a total of 5 bolts.

Don't buy gasket failed after 60 days. Have to pay for entire manifold removal and replace. Pos find a decent quality product

Nice fitment, I would have given ithem 5 stars but they did not come with the gaskets as advertised. Check your order for the gaskets upon delivery.

I installed these on my 2018 RAM1500 Sport. Perfect fit and so much thicker walled than the originals. No modifications needed, but I did need to order the heat shields (from Rock Auto) for another $40. They expect your old ones to be usable, but how often does that happen? For the price, they should include the heat shields. Other than that little disappointment, these manifolds are the best around and I do highly recommend them! If you own a RAM, you will be replacing your exhaust manifolds every 50k - 100k using OEM parts and I am hoping these last at least twice as long.

My mechanic recommended this exhaust manifold kit for my 2013 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. When I ordered, it arrived as promised the next day. The manifolds are heavier and thicker than the OEM ones that came with the vehicle when I bought it new. They should be more durable as well. They fit like a glove. So far so good after the first month the kit was installed.

Reçu le colis en retard j’ai du reporter mon rendez-vous chez le mécanicien mais le produit semble effectivement beaucoup plus supérieur à ceux d'origine . Je dois fixer un nouveau rendez-vous pour effectuer le changement donc je ne suis pas certain encore que ce kit sera compatible avec mon ram Classic 2019 5.7 et je modifierai mon évaluation que lorsque je serai certain que sa fonctionne sans modifications ou autres . Tel que d’autre gens ont mentionné ce serait un plus que les boucliers thermiques soient dans l’ensemble mais non malheureusement donc j’espère que mon mécano pourra récupérer celles de mon camion.
