First things first, the scan tool fits nicely in the hands, has a big display to see more data, makes for easier use. The VCI is nice and small. Has a light to be able to find the OBD port which is convenient. Can also use the VCI as a J2534 on your PC. Which is a bonus for those that use OE software. The layout is simplistic.
