This puller is another solid tool from Vevor. I grabbed it to pull small trees out in the back where space for the truck is limited. Whereas it's back breaking work by the nature of it, this tool is getting the job done, crank by crank. The compound pulley definitely provides some noticeable leverage, and the overall construction is beefy, simple, and thick. The cable could be a bit longer, I suppose, but that comes at the expense of bulk and weight, so I'm happy with how it's designed. The handle is a solid length, and plenty long enough to feel as though I'm maxing out my own potential within safe limits. The cable is flexible-enough to manipulate as well, and the locking mechanisms hold everything tightly in place under tension. I've had a slight issue with the release mechanism being a bit flimsy, but - once I get into a groove - everything seems to operate as intended. When everything is done, it stores cleanly on a big old nail in the shop. Nice and easy. For the price, build quality, and versatility, this is a solid tool.

This is a heavy duty and high quality tool. It was a good value and works well. This heavy duty model works much better than the lighter duty one it replaced. I highly recommend the heavy duty model even if you think a lighter duty one might be adequate. The steel rope on the heavier duty one is much more robust and less prone to winding problems.

I have another 5 ton winch that is not nearly the quality of this winch. For the price, this is a very good winch.

Bought this to pull up some of the tree trunk in my back yard. Was able to pull up all the tree truck from 4 inches to 6 inches. Had to do a little digging. But save me a whole bunch of money. Only down side it hard to release. Or else it strong and easy to uses

I have been cutting down dozens of trees to set a fire perimeter around my house and clear up the view of the sky for my starlink. This tool has single handedly saved my house. Its held onto a solid 100 foot pine that fell weird but the tension this thing makes just brute forces the tree to go in whatever direction you want it to. This thing when combined with a snatchblock and metal cable with the same capacity rating can take down almost anything. I just took out a 120 foot black oak that was 3.5 feet in diameter at the base. A big like 250 year old tree that was super close to my house. Only thing I wish was different is that I wish you had the ability to extend the cable length on the device. Its stuck at 11.5 feet which is more than often not enough. It has to be paired with other equipment to live up to its full potential. But its cheap and it works.

I am using this to pull small palm trees out of ground. Palm trees are difficult to remove and I have used this right to its limits and so far, works great.

Solidly built tool. Really like the versaitility of it with the pulleys it comes with. I had to use it to take the slack out of a rope I need to get really tight and was able to configure the pulleys to get that done. Also used it to help guide a tree i was cutting down. All the levers and controls feel solid.

Arrived over wound but with a bit of study managed to release the wire which was fiddly but doable. Important to fully read the instructions or suspect many would never be able to release the tension once used. I have already used it in combination with a similar rated tow rope and binder chain to drag a collapsed wire fence and posts back up a steep embankment. Although rated well beyond what needed I was concerned about anything snapping so used a snatch block which enabled me to stand off to the side whit used the winch. I fixed some orange ribbon round the cable so didn’t over fill the spool which I suspect is the big mistake to be made thinking more to go. Good value for money well made and solid if a little heavy out of need given the 5 ton rating. Remember safety first and only combine with straps / chains / Shackles rated to suit the task.

Super Teil, Also ich hätte es nicht gedacht, aber 5 Tonnen sind für diese Winde kein Problem. Macht schon Laune damit zu arbeiten. Einzige was gewöhnungsbedürftig ist und Übung braucht, ist sas Lösen des Stahlseils. Aber das geht auch mit der Zeit. Ich würde es wieder kaufen.

I have owned several of these over the years, in Canada we called them a "come along". This is much higher quality than then ones from Princess Auto (Canadian equivalent to Harbor Frieght). It's far more stout than I expected for the price, well thought out, heavy hooks, no pins to remove to unhook the snatchblock.
