Purchased three of these and I am loving them after installing them.I installed the first one using the template for screw holes and instructions included. After the first one I winged it and the installation procedure can be easier. The main issue with the suggested procedure is that the template is thick paper and folded. Even after multiple attempts to flatten it and tape it down it still was not perfectly flat so keeping it flat while drilling through the proper drill points did not make me feel 100% on the placement of the holes. My installation procedure follows:The basket has four screw holes where the basket attaches to the sliders. The sliders have four tabs with three holes each. The slider tab holes are two elongated holes for the screws to mount the slider to the shelf/cabinet and one that corresponds to the basket holes.Take the basket and place it where you want the basket to be on the shelf. Use a Sharpie to mark the center of the 4 holes. Remove the basket and set aside.Take each slider and center the mark on the shelf in the center of the round hole on the slider tabs. Use the Sharpie to mark the elongated holes. Drill 1/8 inch pilot holes in the shelf at the center of each of the elongated markings.Mount the sliders but do not tighten all the way. Place the basket on top and align the holes in the basket with the corresponding mounting hole on the slider. Hold one of the sliders carefully in place, remove the basket and tighten the mounting screws in the slider.Once again place the basket on top and align the mounting holes. Repeat holding down the slider and tighten the mounting screws.Now just place the basket on top again and use the non-wood screws to attach the basket.Done. Hope this helps you in your future installation.

Recently purchased and installed these pullout shelves. Easy to install with the template that comes with it. Only issue I had is the cheap screws that came with it. 3 out of the 8 screws broke (heads snapped off) even though I pre-drilled 1/8 holes as recommended. Overall though, it’s sturdy and does the job. I would recommend this product, however make sure you have some extra screws lying around just in case.

Nice shelf and rolls easily, heavy duty enough to hold pots and lids ... works well... very happy

I am a 72 year old female and if I can easily install this so can you. And these are very sturdy. The small oven on the bottom shelf is quite heavy and yet the shelf slides like a dream. I did not use the paper template as these shelves just fit in my space with only about 1/8" on either side. So I had to make certain they were in the right place to clear the opening when sliding out. I put the glides on the shelf and then set the shelf exactly where I needed it and marked the holes with a felt pen. I removed the shelves and drilled the holes, took the glides off and screwed them down and then attached the shelves to the glides. When you attach the back of the glides slide the shelf forward so you don't have to reach so far. I might add this was also quick to install. I am thrilled and wished I had done it years ago. Now I don't have to get down on my hands and knees and crawl under the counter to get to the oven. Very very very happy!

Let me say that the unit was well made and worked perfectly after installation thereby getting a 5 star rating. However, when the package was received it had obviously been opened. When installing, the paper pattern had been used by someone who had attempted to install it. Also, the screws for the rail system did not fit. They were too large. This pull out shelf had obviously been returned to Amazon and then Amazon had sent it out to me without any inspection to determine if everything was correct, etc. This is my major complaint that Amazon apparently did not examine a returned item and then turned around and sent it back out to another customer, AS NEW.As I said, the shelf is a quality item and I am pleased with the way it functions even though I had to source my own mounting screws.The product gets a 5 star but Amazon gets a 1 star.

These are very sturdy and well made. They do not come with any information on how to attach to wire shelves, just information, and screws for installing on a wood shelf. I'll explain how I did it. I cut some 1x2 inch wood strips to place under the wire shelf for something to screw into. I marked and pre-drilled pilot holes into the wood using the metal slides as my guide. I then carefully measured to determine the side to side position for the wood. I used a wire tie to temporarily hold the 1x2 wood into place under the shelf since I installed these by myself. I then lined up a metal guide on top of my wire shelf and used the included wood screws to attach it to my 1x2 wood. I repeated the process on the other side being careful to keep the 13.78 inches between the upper mounting holes for the basket. Then you just install the basket to the slides with 4 machine screws and your done. I've included photos showing the 1x2 wood. As you can also see they hold a lot of weight. Even loaded up with cans they work perfectly even at full extension.

Very easy to install (sturdy and accurate template provided). 8 cabinet screws, hold the rails, and four machine screws hold the shelf to the rails. There's enough movement available (with slots in the rail supports, etc) to accommodate less than perfect pilot hole positioning! Installed it is solid as a rock.Shelf sides are low enough to be unobtrusive but tall enough to keep items in place. Full extension means the entire depth of a very deep base cabinet can be used (We have our large dog food canister on the shelf) and it is very strong and sturdy (no sag apparent at full extension with a close-to 50lb load). We were able to install another shelf immediately above the food canister, making much better use of the vertical space.Would definitely buy again

The hardest part was installing the product. Installed in base cabinet have to drill 8 starter holes in the bottom of the cabinet and install the brackets the baskets slide on. All installation parts and the basket are well made and work easily.Good product.
