I can fit their shoes on the PEET Dryer. His shoes are mainly cleats and tennis shoes, but it works for my daughter's Ugg boots as well. **Q: how is this on the electric bill? if you keep it on 24hrs, 7 days a week** A: My first Peet lasted 26 yrs. being left on 24/7. Cost per month is minimal as it only draws a small amount of juice to power up. Wet shoes, boots, etc are rotated as needed. My boots & shoes last longer since they do not rot away from water or sweaty feet. My athlete foot problems disappeared once I started drying my footwear on a daily basis as it killed the fungus that thrived in a wet environment. Highly recommend for anyone who has foot fungal issues like cracks & holes in feet. **Q: Does it have a compartment at the end where you can put baking soda to eliminate odor while drying?** A: No there is no compartment. However odor does not seam to be a problem. I have mine on a timer so it is off all day.Comes on when i get home from work and stays on all night. In the morning my work boots are always dry. Then it turns off. Good luck **Q: Where is this made in 2020?** A: Peet boot dryers started in 1968 in Idaho. They are still manufactured in Idaho . ### ⭐ Second Peet Dryer just melted... Not fit for purpose *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 7 February 2022* I am on my second Peet single dryer. My housekeeper put some riding boots on the first one and it melted so we bought a new one. I used it for the first time yesterday and successfully dried a pair of rugby boots on it. I then put my elder son's rugby boots on in exactly the same way and when i came back to it about an hour later, the tall supports were showing signs of melting again. These were rugby boots, so not long and being acutely aware of the first machine melting, i was very careful how i put the boots onto the dryer. in fact i put them on exactly the same way as the first set earlier that day so i am at a loss as to why this happened again? It certainly doesnt seem fit for purpose and in any event my second peet dryer is now irreparably broken! I dont like the fact there is no timer on the machine given its tendency to melt as it could potentially set the house on fire! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Great! *by on Reviewed in the United States 28 July 2026* I absolutely love this shoe dryer! It’s easy to use and does a great job drying wet shoes, boots, and cleats. It’s especially helpful during rainy and snowy weather when shoes get soaked. It helps keep everything dry and fresh without worrying about damaging them. It’s simple, quiet, and works exactly as expected. A must-have for anyone with kids who play sports! I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it! ## Frequently Bought Together - PEET, Original Dryer, Electric Shoe Dryer, Effective Drying for Work Boots & Outdoor Gear, Athletic Gear, Portable, Silent & Energy-Efficient, Made in USA - Dr. Scholl's ODOR-X ULTRA ODOR-FIGHTING POWDER SPRAY, 4.7 oz // Destroys Odors Instantly - All-Day Odor Protection - Freshens Feet & Shoes - FOOT SENSE All Natural Smelly Foot & Shoe Powder - Foot Odor Eliminator lasts up to 6 months.
