A tart sweetness! I noticed it doesn't get as red as Anthony's brand, though Anthony's is a bit tart. This one leans sweet, which isn't bad. It still tastes wonderful and you get 2 pounds for $20 which is a good deal.

I have been using Hibiscus flower with ginger-lemon tea bags. I have bought the store brand Hibiscus and other other brands on Amazon. This is by far the best one I have used so fars. It comes is smaller pieces and with a scoop. This is helpful because Hibiscus can be very tart in higher concentrations. I use it a hot herbal tea mostly. I also use it as a cold drink during my exercising and when I am out and about. I just add non-flavored electrolytes to the drink. This brand is also organic. The longer you let it seep, the deeper the color and flavor. Hisbiscus has a lot of health benefits. I was a very very heavy coffee drinker. I drink mostly herbal teas and I feel great not having the highs and lows of coffee. Coffee was my daily routine for more than 25 years. I also make jelatin cubes with the herbal tea. Great product. I definitely recommend this highly. I also buy other natural supplements from this brand.
