Review: Versatile and light pan - One of my favourite kitchen pans. Great for pasta, but I use it more for making soups and on the hob casseroles. Strong and durable, but also light (I hate heavy pans that are even heavier when full of food). Easy to pick up. The lid clicks on but not too tightly. This is my second pan. The first lasted about 15 years, and it 2as used a lot. It is a bit of a wait for delivery (several weeks) but we'll worth it.

**Q: Is it oven safe?**
A: No, it has plastic handles

**Q: Is it suitable for induction hob ?**
A: Regrettably, I cannot answer you as I only have a halogen hob on which it works extremely well.  All I can say is that there is nothing on the underside which suggests a positive answer.  Sorry.

One of my favourite kitchen pans. Great for pasta, but I use it more for making soups and on the hob casseroles. The Bialetti pasta pot is the best and most lightweight and versatile pot we’ve ever had. The first two we owned were purchased in ignorance of how amazing they were and lasted over 10 years. It was a shock to see the current price but researching the alternatives led to choosing the same pot again. We love the all black finish and of course it works beautifully like the previous ones. We cannot recommend it highly enough!
