From the Manufacturer Strap into the cockpit of the F-14, pretend you’re Tom Cruise, and you’re well on your way to Top Gun status in this shoot-em-up simulation loosely based on the hit movie. Toggling between the 2 views--Chase and Cockpit--the aim is to move through the skill levels from Trainee through Rookie to Ace and on to that coveted Top Gun trophy. Missions alternate between air-to-air and air-to-ground combat, and the reassuring news is that you are always accompanied by wingmen. Rely on them too much, however, and you will get bawled out during the end-of-mission debriefing.
