Yes, there's not much call for this item these days, but I'm very thankful to have these high-quality wicks fitted into our kerosene lamps, at the ready for when the power goes out. If you're fortunate enough to have any kerosene lamps, you can appreciate how handy they are when there's an outage. So much safer and brighter than candles, and it lets one feel a bit Victorian for a little while, and who doesn't enjoy that? Happily, we've only had to set these alight once since we purchased them, and I'm glad to report that the wicks burned well, long-lasting with little smoking. They seem to absorb the kerosene nicely and evenly, and the wicks fit our vintage lamps (circa 1930s or 40s?), so they are sure to fit any newer ones.

The wick burn very well, so am pleased with it.

Ottimo tessuto consigliati se si vuole ristrutturare una vecchia lampada a olio tipo quelle nulla casa della prateria per fare un esempio non li ho provati ma la manifattura e' fatta molto bene per il prezzo la qualita' vale la spesa sono pienamente soddisfatto da veramente l'idea del materiale usato nei tempi passati.

Buen producto

Habitant un coin de campagne où les coupures d'électricité sont assez courantes, j'avais besoin de remplacer les mèches de mes lampes à huile et d'avoir du stock au cas où. Celles-ci sont identiques en tous points. J'en ai pour des années avec ces 2 grands rouleaux. L'odeur est un peu forte durant les premiers jours mais il faut avoir le nez à proximité de la lampe. Voilà, plus de souci lors des prochaines coupures, je suis très satisfaite.
