Review: Very happy with this. - Very happy with this quality task lamp which is helping me get through the dark winter. Note that the Lumie website advises using this within arms length of the face, and when I did that I got eye pain (don't worry, it goes away). So now I have it about 2m away and I keep it on from when I wake up until about 6:30pm, dimming it a bit towards the evening. It makes a huge difference in my mood and energy. The drawback is that I can't use it as a task lamp in the evening, because the light suppresses melatonin and would cause me insomnia. You want to stop using it at least three hours before you go to bed. But during the day it is excellent for tasks were you need light and colour clarity. The build is robust - I love that the plug connects and disconnects from the base. I wish the lamp had a bit more swivel so I could tilt it towards the ceiling. It only swivels from a down position to straight ahead, but you can swivel it from side to side. I got the mustard yellow colour. Looks great on or off. Worth the cost - but try to find it on sale if you can.

Very good investment and comes in fun colours. I have the white one to compliment my desk design and layout.
