Clay very dry
Concept is great however the clay is so dry it just crumbles and makes a huge mess so there is no way to use the molds or book. Very disappointed as we love melissa and Doug products!

While a good idea in theory
I wish I had read the other reviews on this product before purchasing. While a good idea in theory, the clay was too crumbly and un-usable. The book and tools were great but the kids could not use the clay at all as it just fell apart and didn't hold a shape. While I like Melissa & Doug products in general, this one was extremely disappointing.

Disappointed
The dough quality is pathetic. After playing for 5 minutes the color started to leech onto the hands. The dough got very crumbly after 10 minutes. Added water to restore moisture but that made the color run even more. The activity sheet was fine but Expected better of melissa and doug. It's not cheap by any standard. Poor quality shipped to India. I have used other products in US but never had quality issue there. Will stay away from MnD now

Cute craft book, awful clay
We bought this for our kids to use on a long flight. When we opened the package, the clay was very dry and basically unuseable. The book itself is nice and has play surfaces and molds for the clay. Unfortunately, our kids weren't able to use it due the state of the clay.

We love Melissa & Doug products
We love Melissa & Doug products! My 4 year old son absolutely loved this. We like to pack these on trips to Grandpa's house so he has something to do besides watch T.V. It's a great sensory activity and he liked the little molds that came with it.
