I was having issues getting this cable to work, but it turns out that many Anker multiport USB-C power adapters are not compatible with MagSafe 3 on M2 Macbooks.

The magnet wasn't quite as strong as the original apple cable but it worked perfectly fine for about 2 months, then it started to randomly stop charging for a few seconds before working again. Then it would stop working until it was completely unplugged and plugged back in. Now it just rapidly flashes orange and doesn't charge at all.Going back to an OEM apple cable, it's not worth the headache.

I have just bought a new Mac air , 15 inch. I decided to buy one more cord to be able to use my Mac in different locations in my home and not to bring cord with Mac every time I am changing my place.This cord looks identical to the Apple cord with one alteration: Apple magnet is much stronger and I don’t have to check the connection all the time. This cord’s magnet is weaker and it is easier to lose the connection, and so after some time I could notice that my Mac is not charging. But otherwise, this new cord is perfect. See the pictures.

This product is still pricey, but much less than the original Apple charging cable. It lasted about 8 months with less than 20 total uses before it crapped out. I plugged it into my MacBook and the orange light flickered continuously, but didn’t charge my MacBook. The Anker charging base I used with this cable is working properly as I’ve tested it with other cables, and the original Apple charging cable works properly, however this cable has just quit. While the initial purchase price is cheaper than the original Apple cable, if it doesn’t last and needs to be replaced several times a year, then it doesn’t have that great of value.

I have a M2 Macbook Pro, and I love having the option of using a smaller more powerful GaN charger with it. It saves weight, it's tiny, and I can use a USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable.I needed a backup cable, so I picked up this Korilo Charging Cable and I'm very glad I did.-nicely made cable: this has a nice braided cover, and the connector ends are very secure.-color: it's midnight black! All my other cables are white and grey, so this sticks out right away.-pouch: this is a really nice idea; it's a safe and convenient way to protect your cable in a backpack.-power: this charges as well if not better than my stock Apple OEM cable. No issues at all.This Korilo MagSafe 3 cable has been so useful, I'm using it full-time now! It's much more convenient than the Apple cable and cheaper too.

Update to the Update: Same day as last update. Stopped working completely. AND I have to take time to return it! Don't buy this.Update: It's only been a few days and the light doesn't light up. However, it is still charging. This is annoying as hell.My Macbook Air is only a year old and the power cord works but the covering is coming off rapidly. I've never had an Apple cord disintegrate so rapidly.I decided to replace it. The Apple cord was a ridiculous price. So I chose this one.So far it's working great. So if you have to choose a new cord, choose this one.
