Intake Bacteria Filter and Micro Disk Filter for Respironics EverFlo Oxygen Concentrator (Original Version)

Fits perfectly in my Respironics EVERFLOW Q. Top filter shown in the picture is the "Old" filter which is Smoke Gray plastic so you can see the condition of the filter. This "New" filter is an opaque blue plastic. I'd prefer the translucent plastic but I change the filter ever 6 months anyway so I guess it doesn't matter.The EVERFLOW Q does not have an internal bacteria filter so I simply cut the cannula tube near the output of the humidifier bottle and insert it there. I prefer installing the Micro Disk filter this way because then it also filters the output of the humidifier bottle. An internal filter in the O2 concentrator doesn't do that. Additionally, installing it in the cannula tube reduces condensation in the tubing during the Winter months. The Micro Disk filter seems to trap the excess moisture and slowly humidifies the O2 flow a second time.Overall, well worth the price and seems to work fine.

Arrived on -time, products in good condition....no issues, and the price was good. They came without instructions on how to install. I suppose thats ok, as they go on an Rxd product...and there are a huge amount of YouTube Videos that show what to do. Plus, if u need them u obviously see where they came from on the machine... So, I plan to buy again as long as price doesn't get too high. Hope this helps someone. :)

If you are purchasing these, you probably know at least what you are looking for and what they do. They look to be a good replacement for my EverFlo Q OPI O2 concentrator. I purchased the concentrator second hand as a backup, and after a minute or two of working the yellow alarm light would light up and beep, then the red one would also come on and the sound alarm would be on continuously. According to the manual this suggested a possible low O2 condition (yellow light and beep) and a fault (red).The previous owner said the machine had been purchased for their parent after an accident, and then had very little use, so I figured I would try changing the inexpensive filters before I took the machine in for service. I opened the machine, cleaned any obvious dust with a vacuum, and replaced both filters. Once back together I had the machine run for 24 hours without an alarm coming on, so I saved myself a good amount of money.I must say, comparing the original micro disk to this one, it looks to be of a tiny bit less quality than the original. The plastic looks like it is a smidge less thick. Nothing to deduct a star as I have seen that variation in materials from OEM manufacturing in other items. The intake one looks to be very comparable, although transparent instead of opaque like the original, which to me is a plus not a minus.

Have used these for over a year now. Easy to see level of dirt they have trapped. I change it out every three months.
