Easy to understand directions and easy to assemble. The burner and ignighter come pre assembled. Amarican made. Excellent quality and design were not used to with most things from China. Realy kicks out the heat!

Good design and fairly easy to assemble out of box. Instructions are clear and posted well on the heater itself. Device has some issues with the burner assembly staying lit. Online and East Oak support recommended the same trouble shooting tips. Unfortunately the burner was bad. East Oak did offer to replace the burner assembly at no cost hence the fourth star. Heater works very well when the burner assembly works.

I acquired this device due to my residence in Florida, where its frequent use is unlikely. However, it provides a valuable utility when hosting outdoor gatherings in cold weather. The assembly process was straightforward and devoid of any complications. Recently, I had the opportunity to utilize the device more extensively. Notably, it generates a substantial amount of heat. One user reported that one side of the device emitted more heat than the other. I attributed this observation to the positioning of the heater on the lawn, which caused the device to tilt unevenly. Consequently, the fire may have shifted to one side, resulting in a temperature difference. In summary, I positioned chairs around the device and, at the highest setting, it effectively provides a gentle warmth that can be directed towards those nearby. Standing directly next to the device on the highest setting intensifies the sensation of heat.

I love this product. I did buy it used off Amazon. It did say it was in like new condition, but unfortunately, it was not like new. The top was dented. It was like someone had purchased it taken it all out of the packaging and then threw it all back in a box almost as if they had used it for a week and then returned it. It was very difficult to put together with no instructions , but after it was all set and done it really does work great we use it in our outdoor gazebo and it heats up the area nicely. Gazebo is about 12 x 20. And it heats it up very well.

I purchased 2 of these for our deck. They are excellent. Easy to assemble and I like the access to the tank valve (without lifting the bottom cover) and the flat top which acts as a shelf for beverages. There are also brackets in the even you want to mount this to a patio or deck. Starts up very fast, looks great and very warm (50k BTUs). Only complaint is that one of the two purchased, a screw was missing on the ‘element’ part. It has a slight wiggle. That part comes pre-assembled so there wasn’t a spare screw. Otherwise love it.
