I absolutely love this soap ! Its smell is delightful, feminine and gentle furthermore I have fond childhood memories attached to this soap . It was my grandmother ‘s soap , she was born in 1890 and she used this soap all her life . I was so overjoyed find it on Amazon ! This is the only soap I use in my bathroom for hands and bath . I go through 2 soaps a month but it is worth it ❤️

I found this soap in Paris and fell in love with the scent. So happy to find more of it on Amazon!

Real Roger Gallet fragrance soap I love it

I would buy Roger and Gallet soap again. I have long loved their carnation scent but thought I'd try a new fragrance. I read the reviews and bought Jean Marie Farina. I loved the idea of using the same soap that people used a couple of hundred years ago. I have to believe that the fragrance has changed by now or they use 10x as much fragrance as they used to. This ODOR was SO STRONG that I couldn’t keep it in my house. It gave me an instant headache. The only thing that’s ever done that before is strong bathroom cleaner. Had to throw that out too. Normally I love perfume and natural home fragrance. This was just awful. Others apparently liked it, so to each his own. Just warning you that if you’re the least bit sensitive to strong smells, don’t buy this one. As I mentioned, I’d buy this brand again. The soap is great, a real luxury that lasts a long time.

Excellent soap. Hard Milled so it lasts and doesn't ever turn to mush if you leave it in the shower. I keep the "feminine scents" in the guest bath and keep the Sandalwood and Spice kind of scents in my own bathroom. Best soaps I've ever found at any price. If you ever find these on sale, stock up!! You can store them in their original unopened packages for over three years with no loss of scent or change in the soap itself! My daughter use the Rose and Carnation when she was six or seven and would have a fit if she had to use something else. She's 30 now and I still get her a few packages of Roger & Gallet soaps every year for her birthday! And she loves them still!

Delicious scent. I've used the body lotion for years. It's beautiful. Packaging is lovely but minimal and recyclable.

The only way to get these nice soaps in Canada is to order them from Europe through Amazon. For this reason, it's a bit expensive, but the seller is reliable and the product arrives usually well before the stated delivery date.
