I ordered this for my daughter specifically because it said it came with a vegan leather cord, because she has a sensitivity to metals. It arrived with a silver metal chain. Very disappointing. The stone is tumbled, not raw, so not sure about the claim of the crystal being "untouched".Aside from all that though, the charm & design are very pretty, and they look nice with the silver chain. All the edges on both the stone and metal wrap are smooth. They would make a lovely gift as they are-for yourself or someone else. If you do give it as a gift, I suggest opening it first to remove all the individual plastic wraps. The assembled necklace can go right in the included pouch.

I'll be honest, I don't have the skills to detect if this is really a rough emerald or if it's a comparable stone. So I'm trusting the seller on that one. :) I can tell you that I'm happy with it! It has a deep, multi-layer color with various striations. I appreciate that it wasn't polished down to a perfect sphere, I like the natural shape.It comes with a leather 'necklace' that has a nice metal closure. It is just large enough to put on over my head. It also has a gold chain which is more dainty and formal. I prefer the leather version because I was looking for something casual to wear while walking.I'm very happy with my new emerald!

Alright so this serpentine stone necklace would have gotten a full five star rating, but I decided to knock it down by one since this crystal didn't come with that vegan cord that was pictured in the descriptions. Instead I got a very small chain necklace that would definitely not fit my neck so I was forced to buy a separate necklace cord just so that I use this pendant accordingly. Other than that mishap, the stone is perfectly manicured with smooth edges, and the silver wrappings is a nice touch to the aesthetic value.

This is my review of AYANA Natural Ruby Gemstone Necklace. This pendant features a raw uncut Ruby stone that has a couple of inclusions, but they are not noticeable. The Ruby is wrapped with silver colored wire, which is a little loose around the stone, but not enough for it to fall out. The chain is Stainless steel and has adjustment for size. The whole pendant has a visually appealing quality to it. It has met my expectation; therefore, I am rating it 4 stars.
